Abstract: A bendable support apparatus includes a support unit, at least one coaxially pivoting unit and at least one synchronously pivoting unit. The support unit includes a plurality of support members extending in a first direction and juxtaposed to each other. Each support member has opposite support and mounting major surfaces. The support major surfaces cooperatively define a support surface for a flexible display attached thereto. The coaxially pivoting unit includes a plurality of coaxially pivoting assemblies disposed to permit two adjacent support members to be coaxially pivoted to each other about a pivot axis at a neutral layer of the flexible display. The synchronously pivoting unit includes a plurality of synchronously pivoting assemblies each disposed among three adjacent support members to permit two lateral support members to be synchronously pivoted relative to a middle support member so as to shift the bendable support apparatus between unfolded and folded states.

Abstract: An outward-folding display device includes two flat casings adapted to be connected to a flexible display, and two hinge units connected between the casings such that the casings are convertible between unfolded and folded positions. Each of the hinge units includes two rotatable drive shafts, and two compensation subunits each including a rotating plate that is co-rotatably connected to a respective one of the drive shafts, and a driven plate that is slidable relative to the rotating plate and that is connected to a respective one of the casings, such that during conversion of the casings, the driven plate and the respective one of the casings slide relative to the rotating plate to prevent the flexible display from being stretched and damaged.

Abstract: A flexible electronic device includes a flexible display, a support structure, and two hinge mechanisms. With the pivoting of first and second arm units of each hinge mechanism toward each other, a first inner arm is rotated with and moved relative to a first outer arm to bring a first support plate from a horizontal state to an upright state, and a second inner arm is rotated with and moved relative to a second outer arm to bring a second support plate from a horizontal state to an upright state so as to provide a leeway distance between the first and second inner arms and provide a leeway between the first and second support plate for the flexible display to be bendably received therein.
