    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for using a wild card under a JMS topic name and a computer-usable medium.
    SOLUTION: This method includes a step for transmitting a storage message about a message identified by an ID including a topic stock ID and a topic wild card tag to a Java Naming and Directory Interface JNDI and a step for transmitting an implementation message, which instructs a middleware to store a new message in an optional topic having the topic stock ID, from the JNDI to the middleware. According to the implementation message, the middleware generates a special topic including the topic stock ID and the topic wild card tag, and when inquires of all the topics are made, a reusable dynamic message flow instruction to a broker is generated for allocating the following new message.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for the seamless integration of an application with an in memory data grid. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for intercepting database queries from a computer program for delegation to an in memory data grid is provided. The method includes retrieving database queries from a database driver for a database management system from a requesting computer program and comparing at least a portion of each of the database queries to a listing of database queries. Thereafter, the database queries are selectively routed to a data grid, such as an in memory data grid, in lieu of the database management based upon the comparison.

Each one of the shards may include a different at least one performance feature. The data set is cached in the one of the plurality of shards on the storage device that includes the at least one performance feature corresponding to the at least one predetermined characteristic associated with the data set being cached.
