Abstract: A plurality of windows are displayed on a computer display screen 6. Associated with each window is a graphical object for setting the relations between that window and the other displayed windows. An example of such a relation, would be a master-slave relation whereby selecting data in the master window would automatically lead to its display in the slave window. The relations can be set by performing operations on the graphical objects, for instance, by a mouse click. In addition, a change in the setting of a relationship can be represented by changes in the display mode of the graphical objects.
