    Abstract: A technique relates to a microwave device (300). A qubit (310) is connected to a first end of a first coupling capacitor (320A) and a first end of a second coupling capacitor (320B). A resonator (305) is connected to a second end of the first coupling capacitor (320A) and a second end of the second coupling capacitor (320B). The resonator (305) includes a fundamental resonance mode. A filter (315) is connected to both the qubit (310) and the first end of the first or second coupling capacitor (320A, 320B).
