Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To efficiently operate a grid computing system. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A grid computing system having a plurality of information processing apparatuses, each of which comprises an index value storing part for storing an index value indicative of the throughput of the information processing apparatus itself; a request acquiring part for acquiring a job execution request that requests an execution of a job; a job executing part for executing the job, based on the index value stored in the index value storing part and also based on the process contents of the job, if determining that the job is to be executed in the foregoing information processing apparatus; and a request transmitting part for forwarding the job execution request to another information processing apparatus connected to the foregoing information processing apparatus if determining that the job is not to be executed in the foregoing information processing apparatus.
Abstract:
A data hiding method for embedding message data into media data comprising the steps of obtaining a secondary key by inputting a key having a predetermined value to a specified function; determining hiding positions in which the message data will be embedded according to the obtained secondary key, and selecting one of plural hiding functions according to the secondary key so that the selected hiding function is used for each of the determined hiding positions; and embedding the message data into each of the determined hiding positions according to the selected hiding function corresponding to the hiding position.
Abstract:
It is intended to make it possible to properly certify who is a genuine owne r, and to inhibit deterioration of image quality of media information to which the embedding operation is performed by adaptively determining amount of the operation for characterist ic values such as pixel values. The invention provides a data hiding method for embedding message data into media data comprising the steps of obtaining a secondary key by inputti ng a key having a predetermined value to a specified function; determining hiding positions in which the message data will be embedded according to the obtained secondary key, a nd selecting one of plural hiding functions according to the secondary key so that the selected hiding function is used for each of the determined hiding positions; and embedding the message data into each of the determined hiding positions according to the selected hiding function corresponding to the hiding position.
Abstract:
Additional information (eg copyright information) is embedded into audio data such that the sonic modification caused by the embedding is not perceptible to humans, whilst the additional information can be precisely recovered after audio processing. For embedding the audio data is transformed into frequency components 120 , and for each frequency component the modification level of the audio data into which the additional information 180 can be embedded is determined 130 . A mask is generated 160/170 and used for embedding the additional information in the determined modification level 140 . The modified frequency components of the audio data are then converted back into audio data using an inverse transformation 190 . In a detector (Fig. 2) the audio data is transformed into frequency components 220 and the start point of the additional information is determined 250 . A detection mask is thence produced 270/280 and used to detect the additional information 260 from the determined start point in the transformed audio data.

Abstract:
A method and a system is provided for embedding and detecting additional information, such as copyright information, in audio data, so that a modification in the sonic quality due to the embedding is imperceptible to human beings, and does not drastically deteriorate the sonic quality.
