Abstract: PURPOSE: To set both command and respective parameters of an editing object to a tool button by the direct scanning by a user by setting a specified command and the parameter of a specified editing object to the tool button. CONSTITUTION: When the tool button displayed on the screen of a display device 13 is not clicked, whether or not the editing object displayed on the screen is dropped to the tool button is judged. In the case, the command relating to the editing object and data relating to the parameter are stored in a temporary storage device 14 and they are made to correspond to the tool button by a dropping operation to the desired tool button. When the dropping operation to the tool button is performed, a processor 11 extracts information relating to the command and the data relating to the parameter of the editing object from a graphic specified by the user. Then, based on the obtained data, a new tool is obtained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit more local information to a user existing in a prescribed range by calculating a distance from an information source through the use of position information, comparing it with a prescribed threshold and deciding received information so that it cannot be transferred at the time of deciding the propriety of the transfer of received information containing position information of the information source. SOLUTION: A communication controller decides the propriety of information transfer. Whether information which is decided so that it is to be transferred at first is judged to be valid or not (210). When it is overdue, information is not transferred (270). Then, it is judged whether it itself is detached from an information source by a prescribed distance or not (220). It can be judged according to whether a self-position detected from a position detector is within a circle whose radius is set to be a distance as a threshold with the information source as a center from the distance inputted to the frame of transfer information as the threshold and the position of the information source in the frame. When it is detached from the information source for more than the prescribed distance, information is not transferred (270).

Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable a user to freely set and easily recognize relations among plural windows. CONSTITUTION: A work station 1 consists of a processor 5, a display device 6, a keyboard 7, a mouse 8, etc., and an operating system 2 includes a user interface system 9 which manages the interaction between the display device 6 and a user and information of the mouse cursor. An application program 4 generates a window and sets a view of the window, namely, which attribute of data should be displayed, and further, the program 4 supplies display data to the system 9 to display the window and data. A management table used for automatic control of windows is provided in a window management system, and the user uses the application program 4 through the system 9.
