Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce and display an animation graphic including video or audio by providing a step or the like for displaying the audio, video and graphic unit in a tandem system inside a hall together with multimedia presentation. SOLUTION: It is discriminated whether control information including a 'hall' position arrives together with the presentation or not (S81). When that information arrives, a demultiplexer reference is setup so as to receive it (S82). Then, it is discriminated whether control data arrives by the demultiplexer reference or not (S83) and when that information arrives with that reference, it is analyzed for confirming an HTML tag (S84). Then, the HTML tag is collated with the 'hall' information (S85). When there is coincidence, the hall information is extracted and the audio, video and graphic unit are displayed by the tandem system inside the hall of multimedia presentation together with the multimedia presentation (S86).

Abstract: A method and system for configuring elements of a distributed computing system based on evaluations of their value add and cost impact. The system and method for configuring elements of a distributed computing system comprises the steps of: determining one or more system metrics that relate to hardware and/or software elements of a configured distributed system; determining a system value in response to one or more system metrics, the value determined according to one or more value criteria; and, re-configuring elements of the distributed computing environment according to said determined system value. The re-configuring step further comprises steps of determining one or more potential changes in the distributed computing environment based on the system value determined, and, determining an alternate system value based on at least one potential change determined, the alternate value reflecting an economic consequence including but not limited to: increased revenue, or decreased cost resulting from a potential change.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system and a program product for attaching a title key to an encrypted content for synchronized transmission to a recipient.
SOLUTION: The method and the system for attaching the title key to the encrypted contents for the synchronized transmission to, or storage by, the recipient are provided. Specifically, under the present invention, an elementary media stream is parceled into content units that each include a content packet and a header. The content packets are encrypted with one or a plurality of title keys. Once the content packets have been encrypted, the title keys are themselves encrypted with a key encrypting key. The encrypted title keys are then attached to the corresponding encrypted content packets for synchronized transmission to the recipient.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system, and a program product for managing a size of a key management block (KMB), when the KMB is a form called logical key hierarchy (LKH) in conventional technology. SOLUTION: The method, the system and the program product for managing the size of the KMB during the contents distribution are provided. Specifically, a first KMB corresponding to the first subtree of devices is received along with contents as encrypted with a title key. If a size of the first KMB exceeds a predetermined threshold, a second subtree is created. A second KMB corresponding to the second subtree of devices is then generated. The second KMB includes an item canceling the entire first subtree of devices, and it is smaller than the first KMB. All compliant devices from the first subtree are migrated to the second subtree.
