Abstract:
An elevator system and a method for providing the same to a user are provided to transmit a sound signal to the user by a simple component using the sound signal. A method for providing an elevator system a user includes the steps of: enabling a user to perform a destination call; determining at least one elevator to perform the destination call; informing the elevator information of the user using the sound signal indicating the elevator; forming all signals, which indicate different elevators, by a single frequency signal; and enabling the user to identify various signals which identify each of elevators for a predetermined signal time period and/or by at least one predetermined signal blocking. The signal is composed of a predetermined signal code, preferably, a Morse alphabet code.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method of guiding a user in an environment particularly in a building so as to specify user position with accuracy on the one hand and provide data for guidance in the building depending on the user position on the other hand.SOLUTION: At least one first communications unit (10, 11, 12) is defined to communicate data to a portable type second communications unit (20) carried by a user (30). In this case, the first communications unit (10, 11, 12) transmits a contact signal within a predetermined range (R) for establishing contact with the second communications unit (20). If the second communications unit (20) is located within the range (R) and receives the contact signal, contact is established between the first communications unit (10, 11, 12) and the second communications unit (20). In order to enable guidance of the user (30) through the environment by means of the second communications unit (20), data are communicated from the first communications unit (10, 11, 12) to the second communications unit (20).

The bus module (31, 31') communicates the details with respect to the predefined destination floor or to the access authorization to the zone. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of modernizing an elevator system capable of updating the control function of the elevator system by a simple means. SOLUTION: In this method of modernizing the control of an elevator system 10 having at least one terminal 20, 25, the terminal 20, 25 is updated by a control data packet for modernizing the control function of the elevator system 10 stored in a moving control data storage element 30. In this method, the control data packet is transmitted from the control data storage element 30 to the terminal 20, 25 by a near-field radio connection generated in the area of a pre-defined distance R between the moving control data storage element 30 and the terminal 20, 25. The control data packet is stored in the memory unit 21, 26 of the terminal 20, 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling access to a region accessible to persons that needs lesser amount of energy consumption, in comparison with conventional methods. SOLUTION: An activation signal is transmitted by a communication unit 20 within a predetermined range R. If a receiver unit 10 is located within the range R of the activation signal and receives an activation signal, the receiver unit 10 is activated. Subsequently, an access code is transmitted from the communication unit 20 to the receiver unit 10. If checking of the access code by the receiver unit 10 is successful, the access is considered free. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system using lifting facilities economically available, simple to maintain and free of complicacy for transporting or access controlling persons or articles. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the system 100 for transporting or access controlling persons and articles in a building, a maintaining method and device for the system 100, a program product and a method of reforming the building using the system 100. The system 100 comprises a stair terminal 30 for recognizing identification codes of persons or items, data memory 310 for storing user profiles accompanied by details for permitting access to predetermined destination stairs or building zones, and a processor 311 for coordinating the recognized identification codes to the user profiles. The processor 311 and the data memory 310 are arranged in bus modules 31, 31', respectively. The bus modules 31, 31' communicate the details for permitting the access to the predetermined destination stairs or the zones. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assigning a user to an elevator system provided with a plurality of elevators. SOLUTION: A user gives a destination call. Then, at least one elevator is immediately decided to respond to the destination call to inform the user by an acoustic signal for distinguishing the elevator. All of signals for specifying elevators being different from each other are formed by using only one single frequency signal tone, and various signals for distinguishing individual elevators can be distinguished by the user by signal continuation time defined in advance and/or at least one signal interruption defined in advance. The elevator system prepared for this method is constituted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a data exchange method in which there are few acts which user should perform in comparison with the conventional method so that data exchange is managed even without installing an additional data collector or a checking station. SOLUTION: In a method for exchange of data between a mobile communication unit (10) carried by a user and at least one of first communication units (20, 21), a second communication unit (30) and a computer unit, when the first communication unit and the mobile communication unit are spaced at a prescribed distance (R), a near-field radio connection is generated within this distance, connection is established between both, the data exchange is performed and the data are communicated by the first communication unit to a computer unit at a connection state with the first communication unit. In addition, when the mobile communication unit and the second communication unit are spaced from one another at the prescribed distance, connection is established between both, a near-field radio connection is generated within this distance and the data exchange takes place. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method of controlling access to an accessible area by accurately specifying position of a second communication device in the accessible area to provide right information to users. SOLUTION: In the method of controlling access to a space 2 closed by a door 1, at last two communication devices 10 and 20 are provided to transmit and receive identification code and access code, and the identification code is transmitted from the first communication device 10 to the second communication device 20 by the predetermined first transmission power. The second communication device 20 checks the identification code, and when the identification code check is successful, transmits an acknowledgement code to the first communication device 10 at the second transmission power lower than the first transmission power. The first communication device transmits the access code to the second communication device 20. After a successful check of the access code by the second communication device, the access is freed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a user transport method so that a user surely recognizes an arrival at a moving destination of himself without being particularly forced to monitor a display device. SOLUTION: This method transports the user by a transport means, particularly, an elevator, and provides a control device, a first communication device and a portable second communication device carried by the user. In this case, a destination call is inputted to the control device by the second communication device. The control device determines at least one transport means responding to the destination call. The transport means is notified to the user by the second communication device. The control device also generates a destination signal, and transmits this signal to the first communication device. The transport means transports the user to a destination coincident with the destination call. The destination signal is transmitted to the second communication device by the first communication device, and is notified to the user by the second communication device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
