Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye sensitized solar battery containing titano-silicalite-2. SOLUTION: A solar battery comprises a semiconductor electrode 10 formed by coating a mixture layer of transition metal oxide and titano-silicalite-2 on a transparent base plate 12, an opposing electrode 20, and electrolyte liquid 30 filled between the semiconductor electrode 10 and the opposing electrode 20. It is preferable that the semiconductor electrode includes a layer of dyestuff molecule like ruthenium complex absorbed to the transition metal oxide. Nano- particle of titanium dioxide is preferable as the transition metal oxide. It is preferable for the mixture layer to have a thickness of 10-30 μm.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye sensitized solar battery capable of improving a long-term stability against external factors such as temperature-rises of a solar battery due to a direct sun exposure, without reduction of photo-conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: An electroconductive transparent circuit board 12 and a transition metal oxide layer 14 composed of nano-particle titanium dioxide coated on this electroconductive transparent circuit board 12 constitute a semiconductor electrode 10, whereas an electroconductive transparent circuit board 22 and a platinum layer 24 coated on this electroconductive transparent circuit board 22 constitute the counter electrode 20. Then, between these electrodes (10, 20), a gel type polyelectrolyte 30 composed of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) polymer or N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) solvent or 3-methoxy propionitrile (MP) solvent containing 3 to 20 wt.% of its copolymer is installed. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid power source element with three electrode- terminals, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A cell has a lithium secondary battery and a super-capacitor inside. The positive electrode of the battery and one electrode B of the super- capacitor are connected to a common positive electrode-terminal, the negative electrode composed of lithium metal A of the battery being connected to a negative electrode-terminal and the other electrode C of the super-capacitor being connected to a negative electrode-terminal, thereby forming an electrode- terminal structure with three electrode-terminals. Hence, while this source is superior in performance to conventional lithium secondary batteries, it is also economical and practical compared to a hybrid where a lithium secondary battery and a super-capacitor are separately made.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation-reduction ultrahigh-capacitance capacitor which is provided with an electrode and a separator which are formed in one piece by using a high-molecular electrolytic film so as to simplify a manufacturing process and to reduce interface resistance between the electrode and separator, after an electrode plate is manufactured by conducting direct coating to a charge collector, or by bonding the collector and an electrode active material utilizing heat and pressure, for applying polyaniline doped with a new dopant to the electrode active material, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The electrode active material 302 formed of conductive polyaniline powder and the charge collector 301 are integrally joined to form a positive electrode plate, the electrode active material 302 formed of the conductive polyaniline powder and the charge collector 301 are integrally joined to form a negative electrode plate, and a high-molecular electrolytic film 501 is provided between the positive electrode plate and negative electrode plate.
