The apparatus for transmitting multi-channel audio signals includes: a multi-channel audio down-mixer configured to receive a multi-channel audio signal and transform the multi-channel audio signal into a down-mixed audio signal and a supplementary signal; a super frame generator configured to generate a super frame including a plurality of supplementary signal frames; and a packetizer configured to packetize the super frame, wherein the super frame includes supplementary signal frame number information and supplementary signal frame length information of the supplementary signal frames included in the super frame.

The present invention relates to a method for providing user interaction in LASeR and an apparatus for the same. An apparatus for providing user interaction according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an input unit receiving a control of a user; a control processing unit analyzing the control and creating drag event information including event type information which represents a type of an event and event attribute information; and an operation processing unit producing the drag element information for indicating an operation corresponding to the control of a display by reference to the drag event information, wherein the drag element information includes operation mode information which indicates an operation mode and operation attribute information. According to the present invention, various data formats defined in conventional standards can be applied to other standards and interaction devices.

Abstract:
Feasibility of utilizing observable variables in channel state inference and channel state prediction was investigated. For example, measurements of signal to noise ratio and background traffic can be used to improve the accuracy of channel state inference. A link-invariant model for estimating bit error rate of a data packet was derived using freely observable parameters, such as signal to noise ratio and/or background noise. Prediction can also be achieved by considering the estimate for a current data packet as a prediction for a future data packet or by utilizing a link-specific model that captures the correlation in bit error rate of temporally adjacent packets.

A video signal encoding apparatus may include: a reference image storage unit (160) to store a reference image; a template motion estimation unit (170) to estimate a motion between an input image and the reference image using a template, and to generate motion estimation information; an adaptive motion compensation unit (180) to generate a predicted image using the motion estimation information and the reference image, to calculate a filter coefficient with respect to the predicted image using the template, and to filter the predicted image using the filter coefficient; a transformation and quantization unit (120) to perform integer-transformation and quantization for a differential image that is a difference between the input image and the filtered predicted image; and an entropy encoding unit (130) to entropy encode the quantized differential image and to output an image stream.

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for generating an additional information bit stream of a multi-object audio signal. The apparatus for generating an additional information bit stream of a multi-object audio signal according to the present invention includes a spatial cue information input unit for taking, as an input, spatial cue information generated from a multi-object audio signal encoding device, a preset information input unit for taking, as an input, preset information for a multi-object audio signal, and an additional information bit stream generating unit for generating an additional information bit stream by using the spatial cue information and the preset information. The additional information bit stream includes a header region and a frame region. The preset information is included in the frame region. The apparatus of the present invention is advantageous as it is capable of changing set audio scene information in accordance with the idea of an editor or a sound engineer even during reproduction of a multi-object audio signal because preset information is included in the frame region of the additional information bit stream generated during encoding of the multi-object audio signal.
