Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transceiving data. A method in which a transmitting terminal transmits data to a receiving terminal in a MIMO system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: generating a data field containing the data; generating a signal field containing information on the data field; generating a data frame containing the data field and the signal field; and transmitting the data frame to the receiving terminal. According to the present invention, an end of the frame being transmitted is accurately notified to the receiving terminal in a communication system in which the frame is transmitted using MIMO, thereby decoding the frame in a more efficient manner at the receiving terminal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for allocating a group address in a wireless LAN, a method for transmitting a response request frame and a response frame to a plurality of terminals, and a data transmission method using the same group address. The method for allocating the group address of the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting a group agreement request frame including the group address (identifier) to terminals as grouping targets; and receiving a response frame corresponding to the group agreement request frame. The group agreement request frame includes group address (identifier) information and a terminal address as a destination address and is transmitted to a receiving terminal as a destination.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for protecting MU-MIMO (Multi User-Multiple Input Multiple Output) data through a multi-RTS/CTS frame exchange in a MU-MIMO based wireless communication system. The method of the present invention comprises: a process where an indicator for VHT data protection is added to an RTS frame, using the structure of an RTS/CTS frame for an existing legacy terminal during the multi RTS/CTS frame exchange; a process where an access point designates and then transmits the duration period of the RTS frame while transmitting the RTS frame; and a process where wireless terminals up to the (n-1)th terminal designate the duration period of the CTS frame as '0' and send the designated duration period, while only the n-th wireless terminal designates NAV for data protection.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting data to at least one station by an access point in a wireless communication network includes: broadcasting a multiuser ready-to-send (muRTS) message for a very high throughput (VHT) station; broadcasting a legacy RTS message for a legacy station; receiving a clear-to-send (CTS) message transmitted by the VHT station or the legacy station; and transmitting the data to the VHT station or the legacy station which has transmitted the CTS message.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods for transmitting a frame by grouping a plurality of wireless terminals in a multi-user based wireless communication system. The present invention includes a method for transmitting a frame by including information about multiple receiver terminals in a MAC frame, another method for transmitting a frame by allocating group addresses and then using a corresponding group address for frame transmission, and yet another method for transmitting a frame by using a unique group sequence number that is allocated to each group and group control information that contains bitmap information. The group control information is included in a destination address field of a MAC layer, or in a signal field of a physical layer, or in both the MAC layer and the physical layer.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for increasing the resource utilization rate and reducing power consumption in a high-speed wireless communication system and a control device. The method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a process for efficient utilization of a frequency band by including channel state information and data frame mode information in a request frame or an ack frame, before transmission in a wireless communication system. The method according to one embodiment of the present invention relates to a power saving method in a wireless communication system having at least two different transmission modes, the method comprising: a process of setting a mode in such a manner that a control frame is received in a mode with the lowest sampling speed out of three different modes available and then receiving the control frame in the set mode; and a process of setting a mode, after receiving the control frame, in such a manner that a data packet is transmitted / received in a mode with the highest transmission rate and then transmitting / receiving the data packet in the set mode.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for recovering a frame that failed to be transmitted to a plurality of wireless terminals by using a group number in a MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output) based wireless communication system. Following the transmission of a frame that requests for a response including group control information to the plurality of wireless terminals, if a response frame is not normally received from a particular wireless terminal, a request frame is transmitted to the wireless terminal that has failed to receive the response frame as a destination, after a period of time for receiving the response frame from each of the plurality of wireless terminals that consists of a group. In another embodiment of the present invention, if the response frame is not normally received from a particular wireless terminal, a request frame is transmitted to wireless terminals starting from the wireless terminal that has failed to receive the response frame down to the last wireless terminal, in accordance with the transmission order of the response frame.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for sending/receiving data in a wireless packet communication and more particularly a short-distance wireless communication system, when one terminal is attempting to communicate with various terminals simultaneously. A method of the present invention, in which a sending terminal sends data to a plurality of receiving terminals, comprises the steps of: determining the data item having the maximum length from among different items of data to be sent to the plurality of receiving terminals; acquiring length information about the data item having the maximum length; generating a signal field containing length information about the data item having the maximum length; and sending the signal field to the plurality of receiving terminals. The present invention has the advantageous effect that it can ensure that zones where reception is not possible are not created and smooth communication is possible when a single terminal uses various communications pathways to simultaneously transmit data to various terminals and receive an Ack thereto.
