PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of positive electrode active material powder, and the positive electrode active material powder manufactured therefrom are provided to form a coating film with a uniform thickness, and to prevent a leakage of manganese. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of positive electrode active material powder comprises the following steps: melting a water-soluble polymer(12) to water; coating the water soluble polymer on the surface of a positive electrode active material particle(10) by adding the positive electrode active material particle to the water and stirring; adsorbing metal ions to the surface of the coated positive electrode active material particle; filtering and drying the positive electrode active material powder; and sintering the powder for forming a coating film(16).

PURPOSE: A negative active material used for a secondary lithium battery is provided to obtain structural stability by preventing phase analysis even when charging/discharging is repetitively practiced at 0-1.5V and to have superior cycle lifetime and capabilities. CONSTITUTION: A negative active material used for a secondary lithium battery includes an Mo_xM_yP_z compound. In the compound, M is selected from a group comprising Co, Mn, Fe, Ni, Zn, and combinations thereof. The negative active material has a nanoparticle cluster shape. A method for manufacturing the negative active material comprises a step of mixing Mo, metal M, and P and a step of plasticizing mixture powder after milling the mixture. The lithium secondary battery includes an anode(3) including anodic active material, a cathode(2) including the negative active material, and an electrolyte.
