Abstract: The present disclosure provides an indoor apparatus (100) with a reduced refrigerant noise level in an air-conditioning system, wherein the apparatus includes: a heat-exchanger (110) for exchanging heat between refrigerant and indoor air; a fan (130) rotating to flow air to the heat-exchanger; and an expansion valve (150) for expanding refrigerant discharged from the heat-exchanger, the indoor apparatus further including: a first temperature sensor (160) disposed on a first conduit for supplying refrigerant to the heat-exchanger, wherein the first temperature sensor detects a first temperature of refrigerant to be fed into the heat-exchanger; a second temperature sensor (170) disposed on a second conduit for receiving refrigerant from the heat-exchanger, wherein the second temperature sensor detects a second temperature of refrigerant discharged from the heat-exchanger; a third temperature (180) sensor disposed on a housing of the indoor apparatus for detecting a discharge temperature of the indoor apparatus; and a controller configured for estimating a load of the indoor apparatus based on the discharge temperature detected by the third temperature sensor, and for increasing or decreasing an air flow rate of the fan based on the estimated load.

Abstract: An outdoor unit for an air conditioning system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a case forming an exterior of the outdoor unit; a base installed on a lower plate of the case; a vibration-proof member supporting the base between the lower plate and the base; and a machine room part including a compressor and accumulator connected to each other by a refrigerant suction pipe, and installed on the base, wherein the compressor and the accumulator each may be coupled to the base with a rigid coupling structure.
Accordingly, when the compressor is driven, the compressor, the accumulator, and the base behave with the same behavior pattern, so that vibration and stress acting on the suction pipe and discharge pipe of the compressor can be effectively reduced.-

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an indoor apparatus of an air-conditioning system with a reduced noise level and to a method for controlling the apparatus.
The apparatus includes: a heat-exchanger (110) for exchanging heat between refrigerant and indoor air; a fan (130) rotating to flow air to the heat-exchanger; an expansion valve (150) for expanding refrigerant discharged from the heat-exchanger; a first temperature sensor (161) disposed on a first conduit for supplying refrigerant to the heat-exchanger, wherein the first temperature sensor detects a first temperature of refrigerant to be fed into the heat-exchanger; a second temperature sensor (163) disposed on a second conduit for receiving refrigerant from the heat-exchanger, wherein the second temperature sensor detects a second temperature of refrigerant discharged from the heat-exchanger; and a controller (170) configured to: calculate a suctioned refrigerant superheat based on a difference between the first and second temperatures; and to control activation or deactivation of the fan and/or opening or closing of the expansion valve based on the calculated suctioned refrigerant superheat to reduce a noise level of the indoor apparatus.
