Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal amplification system generating an amplified signal having reduced distortion by regulating the phase and amplitude in order to reduce the amplitude of distortion at at least one frequency using the upstream signal information in a signal to be amplified. SOLUTION: The distortion reducing system determines at least one frequency for distortion generated from a signal amplifier using upstream signal information, e.g. the carrier frequency in a signal to be amplified. Depending on the amplitude of distortion at at least one frequency, the distortion reducing system performs phase and/or amplitude regulation to reduce the amplitude of distortion. For example, a processing circuit obtains a traffic frequency for forming a signal to be amplified through a feed forward amplifier arrangement. The feed forward amplifier arrangement receives the signal to be amplified on a main signal path and copies the replica of signal for the main signal path and a feed forward path.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for generating a pilot signal to be obtained by substantially eliminating or fairly reducing the distortion caused by an amplifier. SOLUTION: A distortion reduction system uses upstream signal information like a carrier frequency in an input signal, adjusts at least one frequency for a pilot signal which is injected into the distortion reduction system and is detected in an output of the distortion reduction system, and improves distortion reduction of the changing output signal. For example, a process circuit obtains a traffic frequency which forms a signal to be amplified by a feedforward structure. The process circuit determines at least one frequency for the pilot signal, and adjusts a pilot signal generator to at least one frequency for the pilot signal by use of the traffic frequency. The feedforward structure receives a signal to be amplified and provides a replica of the signal on a main signal path and a feedforward path.
