A door frame element comprising a onepiece extruded section such as 11E, e.g. of metal has, as integral portions thereof, a lengthwise web 22 integrally connecting transversely-spaced front and rear walls 20, 21 and having an enlargement 23 between the walls 20, 21, lengthwise of the web, an integral extension 23E projecting endwise beyond adjacent web regions. Extension 23E is externallythreaded. The said section is of box-shape and has two webs 22 as side walls, each having a pair of projecting extensions 23E. A door section comprises a generally rectangular frame having spaced frame members such as 11U, 11L connected to frame elements such as 11E extending therebetween adjacent opposite ends thereof, each frame member having a connection web 42, 72 engaging with corresponding ends of the frame elements, the connection webs 42, 72 having openings such as 42A receiving said integral end extensions of said frame and releasable nuts engaged between attachment surfaces of said extensions 23E and the adjacent connection web 42, 72 to secure the frame members and the frame elements into a rigid frame.
