Abstract: A frequency conversion circuit for a frequency-modulated receiver adapted to be manufactured in integrated circuit form. The circuit includes an oscillator of the Colpitts type, a mixer arranged in an emitter follower configuration, and input and output amplifiers. A feedback circuit coupled between the input amplifier and mixer allows operation of the circuit over a substantial voltage range. Arrangement of the mixer in an emitter follower configuration results in reduced levels of undesired frequencies. The gain of the input and output amplifiers may be varied allowing usage in different products.
