Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that is of a type suitable for use with a cable support device. SOLUTION: The connector 110 for connecting adjacent parts of a cable support assembly having walls with installing holes comprises a body 114 and a plurality of fixing members 116 to 119 projecting from the surface of the body. Each fixing member comprises a shank portion 121 and an elastically deformable head portion at the free end of the shank portion. The head portion can pass through the associated installing hole in the associated adjacent part and, in a fixing position after the passing, can deform into a shape to prevent the fixing member from passing back out of the installing hole. An energizing means is furthermore disposed to produce, when in the fixing position, energizing force toward the walls of the adjacent parts of the cable support assembly. The energizing means comprises at least one elastic tab 142 arranged an the connector body.

The support panel has a hole for accepting each signal- putting protrusion at a corresponding place.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect different cables without peeling them by providing a means for housing at least one branch cable to be assembled to a main cable between a lower member and upper member having respective contact blades, and providing a tubular body having a through-hole for allowing the penetration of the contact blade on this means. SOLUTION: A means for housing at least one branch cable comprises a housing cylindrical tubular body. The tubular body has two pairs of through- holes in the vicinities of a first insert port 70 and a second insert port 27, respectively. The through-holes are arranged with the inclination to the long axis of the branch cable, and the end part of the cleat of each contact blade is protruded there and penetrated. When two upper and lower members are made to approach each other, a contact blade 18 passed through the cleat and the insulating materials of a main cable and the branch cable, and then pierced through a conductive core part by this blade. The cleat is allowed to abut on the insulating material of a cable to ensure the continuity of insulation.
