Abstract: Various embodiments enable computers to automatically create photographic lineups for police use and, in so doing, eliminate risks associate with subject judgment involved in human selection of fillers for such photographic lineups. Moreover, various improve the reliability of photographic lineups by selecting images of fillers that are similar to, but not too similar to, an image of the suspect.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a virtual dispatch assist system in which various types of Intelligent Agents are deployed (e.g., as part of a new CAD system architecture or as add-ons to existing CAD systems) to analyze vast amounts of historic operational data and provide various types of dispatch assist notifications and recommendations that can be used by a dispatcher or by the CAD system itself (e.g., autonomously) to make dispatch decisions.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a computer-implemented methodology for automatically indicating in a computer-aided dispatch system for a plurality of assignable participants, such as emergency vehicles, to be dispatched to one of a plurality of facilities, whether a facility is in a diverting status or a receiving status. A centralized database receives a change in status for a vehicle for use in determining the status of a facility. In response to receiving the change in status for the vehicle, the status information about the vehicle including a current status and a prior status is transmitted to one or more client programs. A client program receives the current status and the prior status of the vehicle and uses the current status and prior status of the vehicle along with a criteria set to determine if any of the plurality of facilities' status should be changed from receiving to diverting or from diverting to receiving.

Abstract: A method of scheduling recurring tasks using an electronic device comprises, receiving a user request to schedule a recurring task. The method further comprises rendering a GUI including a plurality of regions presented concurrently in a first view. The plurality of regions includes a month selection region displaying all months of a calendar year, a date selection region displaying all dates of a month, a day selection region displaying all days of a week, a time selection region displaying a plurality of hours of a day and a plurality of minutes of an hour. The method further includes, receiving, inputs that specify selection of one or more cells in one or more of the plurality of regions of the GUI to define a schedule for the recurring task. Furthermore, the method includes, executing, an application at a time corresponding to the schedule for the recurring task.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, a method ensures, by a web map tile service, the updated display of features. In this method, a web map tile service database receives a change to a feature on a map and a server system identifies rendered tiles in a cache that are impacted by the change to the feature. The server system invalidates the identified rendered tiles in the cache by, for example, removing them.

Abstract: A method for creating a line drawing associated with a point cloud provides a line drawing representing a three-dimensional object and a point cloud of the same. The line drawing has line drawing coordinate data, and the point cloud has point cloud coordinate data. The point cloud also has point cloud distance data of the three-dimensional object. The method also associates the line drawing coordinate data with the point cloud coordinate data. Further, the method uses the associated coordinate data to apply the point cloud distance data to the line drawing.

Abstract: Embodiments use holographic projection in augmented reality to visualize a building in 3D and show, as a holographic figure, the position of personnel in the building. In some embodiments, a user can “tap” on a holographic figure to view data on that person, such as skin temperature, room temperature, heart rate, etc.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided that improve graphical software applications, by filtering the data for display according to techniques for defining and manipulating visual indicia. Data may be filtered according to multiple filters that are combined in a number of ways to form the set of data for display. Data may be filtered ontologically and geometrically according to their relationships with other data. Visual indicia that represent filters may be drag-and-dropped between input areas to facilitate ease of use. Data selected according to a filter may be displayed at the same time as non-selected data by applying visually distinctive characteristics to the selected data. A virtual environment may be shown simultaneously on several different video displays at a single workstation.

Abstract: A Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system is specially configured to account for the physical condition of emergency personnel, which can affect their ability to effectively handle a particular incident. The CAD system tracks health, stress, and biometric status of each available emergency responder automatically and in real-time based on a wide range of collected information and to assess the suitability of available emergency responders to respond to a given emergency incident based upon such status information. Based on such status information, the CAD system can make intelligent recommendations to the emergency dispatcher by taking into account such things as the emergency responder's past experiences with a particular type of emergency incident, the current and cumulative status of the emergency responder, and projections as to the future condition of the emergency responder if dispatched to handle the emergency incident.
