The present invention relates to a regenerative-type fluid machinery having a guide vane on a channel wall, wherein the guide vane for guiding the flow of a fluid protrudes from the channel wall so as to change the inflow angle of the fluid introduced into an impeller groove, thereby reducing energy loss due to an eddy generated within the impeller groove. To this end, the regenerative-type fluid machinery comprises: a circular plate-shaped impeller having a plurality of vanes radially disposed so as to be spaced a predetermined distance apart from each other on the outer circumference thereof; a casing in which the impeller is disposed; and a flow channel having a suction hole and a discharge hole at either end thereof, the flow channel being circumferentially disposed within the casing, opposite the vanes. The plurality of guide vanes, which have an inclination angle (?) with respect to a radial direction in a rotational direction of the impeller, protrude from the wall of the flow chamber such that a relative inflow angle (ß) of the fluid introduced into the impeller groove is increased. Thus, an absolute inflow angle (a) may be decreased.

The present invention relates to a method for the non-planar transfer of a fine pattern and to an article to which the fine pattern is transferred by the transfer method. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for the non-planar transfer of a fine pattern and to an article to which the fine pattern is transferred by the transfer method, wherein the method coats an upper surface of a substrate having a flat structure with a sacrificial layer and a pattern forming layer, forms a fine pattern into a large area on the coated pattern forming layer, separates the pattern forming layer on which the fine pattern is transferred, and attaches the separated pattern forming layer to an object article.

The present invention relates to a platform for a vibrating bed, the platform having a rotary axis that can be varied according to the body type of a user, in which the rotary axis can be varied to fit the body type of a user, thereby providing the rotary axis that is optimized for a user, the platform comprising: a plurality of main plates that are divided into a plurality thereof and formed in a rotatable manner to support the human body; a plurality of sub-plates that are divided into a plurality thereof between the main plates corresponding to the buttocks and the knees of a human body, and coupled via hinge mutually or to the main plates in a rotatable manner; a restraining portion provided between each of the main plates and each of the sub-plates to selectively enable or restrain the rotation of each of the main plates and the sub-plates; a plate portion provided in such a manner that the parts corresponding to the location of the joints according to the body type of a user can be selectively rotated; a first driving portion provided to incline the upper body portion of the plate portion; and a second driving portion provided to incline the lower body portion of the plate portion, thereby providing a platform for a vibrating bed for preventing decubitus sore, the platform having a variable rotary axis for different body types, and a method for controlling a position change cycle of same.

The present invention relates to a metal catalyst composition for producing furfural derivatives from raw materials of lignocellulosic biomass, and to a method for producing furfural derivatives using the composition. The metal catalyst composition comprises ruthenium chloride (RuCl3) and chromium chloride (CrCl2), wherein the chromium chloride (CrCl2) is 300 to 500 weight parts with respect to 100 weight parts of ruthenium chloride (RuCl3). According to the present invention, metal catalysts of multiple types are mixed at an optimum ratio, thus producing furfural derivatives from raw materials of lignocellulosic biomass through a simple reaction process performed in a single reaction device, which might otherwise require multistep processes such as pretreatment and simple saccharification processes as in conventional processes for producing furfural derivatives.

The present invention relates to a method for producing biofuel materials as alternatives to petroleum, such as 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furfural (HMF), 5-alkoxymethyl-2-furfural, a rubrinic acid alkyl ester, or the like, through a single process using a catalytic conversion without a saccharification process, from galactan which can be mass-supplied at a low cost and extracted from macroalgae which is a marine renewable resource. The present invention uses macroalgae, which is a marine biomass resource, thus avoiding the problems of affecting the price of grains as opposed to crop-based biomass resources, and enabling an easier extraction of a carbon source as compared to ligneous biomass resources.

The present invention relates to a foam for continuously supplying a foaming agent to molten metal. The foam comprises: a strip or rod-shaped base material which is made substantially of the same metal as the molten metal to form metal foam, and a foaming agent which is filled in a filling portion formed in a longitudinal direction of the base material. The present invention can prepare high quality metal foam by supplying a foaming agent while a base material is molten through supply of foaming agent to molten metal.
