Abstract:
A drive assembly for use in a piece of home equipment is provided including a center shaft having a central axis. A first drive component has a cavity formed therein and is configured to rotate about the central axis. A second drive component is at least partially nested within the cavity. The second drive component is configured to rotate about the central axis. The first drive component is operably coupled to a first rotary coupling and the second drive component is operably coupled to a second rotary coupling.
Abstract:
A base (50) for a food processing system (20) is provided including a housing (52) configured to couple with a complementary container (22). The housing (52) includes a bottom surface (60). At least one suction device (62) is mounted to the bottom surface (60) and is configured to adhere the base (50) to an adjacent surface. At least one release mechanism (64) is mounted generally flush with an outer surface of the housing (52). The at least one release mechanism (64) is operably coupled to at least one suction device (62) and is movable between a first position and a second position to release the at least one suction device (62) from the adjacent surface.
Abstract:
A surface cleaning head may be configured to receive a removable rotatable driven agitator, such as a brush roll, or a non-driven agitator. Either of these agitators may be located in an openable agitator chamber for purposes of removing debris and/or removing the agitator. The openable agitator chamber may be covered by an external cover that is movable between an open position and a closed position. At least one end of the removable agitator may be secured in the agitator chamber by the external cover. A sealing member may be located between the external cover and a surface cleaning head housing and around a perimeter of the agitator chamber. Different removable agitators with different characteristics may be used interchangeably in the surface cleaning head.
Abstract:
An attachment for use with a food processing system is provided. The attachment includes a container body having a sidewall, a first end configured to be mounted to a food processing base, and a second end remote from the first end. The first end being open and the second end being partially closed. The attachment further includes a first agitating member including one or more blades. The first agitating member is receivable at the first end. The attachment also includes a second agitating member receivable at the second end including a fluid agitator. The fluid agitator is configured to direct a fluid to one or more regions of the container body.
Abstract:
A bowl assembly for a micro puree machine includes a beaker removeably attachable to a beaker coupling located inside a bowl. The beaker coupling operatively couples to a drive motor assembly for rotation of the beaker coupling and the beaker relative to the bowl. The bowl in turn locks onto a bayonet structure on a base of the micro puree machine, which secures the bowl in position on the base while the beaker coupling and the beaker rotate.
Abstract:
A wand includes a hinge configured to pivotally connect first and second wand segments in an extended configuration and a storage configuration. A first locking mechanism locks the wand in extended configuration. A second locking mechanism includes a rod, a sliding lever, a plunger, and a plunger cavity. The plunger is configured to be received in the plunger cavity to lock the wand in the storage configuration. When in the extended configuration, depressing a single actuator pivots the locking arm, causes the hook/pawl to be removed from the locking cavity, and unlocks the wand. When in the storage configuration, depressing the single actuator causes the rod to move in a first direction, causes the sliding rod to move a second direction, and urges the plunger out of the plunger cavity.
Abstract:
A cleaning device connector is provided having a connector housing with a front wall, a rear wall, a bottom surface, and a top surface. A cavity is arranged within the bottom surface of the housing. A bracket is arranged within the cavity of the housing. A pin extends from the rear wall of the housing. A release button is positioned on the housing and configured to move the bracket and the pin from a first position to a second position.
Abstract:
A cooking system for cooking food includes a housing defining a hollow chamber configured to receive the food, a lid movable relative to said housing between an open position and a closed position to form a pressure-tight cooking volume between said hollow chamber and said lid, at least one heating element associated with at least one of said housing and said lid, and a temperature probe positionable within said pressure-tight cooking volume. The cooking system is operable in a pressure cooking mode and during said pressure cooking mode. The temperature probe is operable to detect a temperature of the food in said pressure- tight cooking volume.
Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner may include a body having a handle end and an attachment end, the attachment end being opposite the handle end along a longitudinal axis of the body, a dust cup disposed between the handle end and the attachment end, a suction motor disposed between the handle end and the attachment end, a body latch configured to releasably engage an accessory, and a body toggle configured to cause the body latch to transition between a releasing position and a retaining position, the body toggle being positioned closer to the handle end than the attachment end.
Abstract:
An attachment (30) configured for use with a food processing system (20) includes a container (32) configurable with a food processing base (22) of the food processing system (20). The container (32) has a processing chamber (40). The processing chamber (40) has a first configuration adjacent a first end (34) of said container (32) and a distinct second configuration adjacent a second end (36) of said container (32), said second configuration being circular.
