Abstract:
Method and single radio station for managing station throughputs from a wireless multiple access points backhaul. The method comprises using a single radio interface per station to connect stations to one or more access points (AP1, AP2, AP3), and scheduling the throughput there for by determining a throughput request Tik for any station (k) to an access point (APi), based on a previously received or requested throughput {circumflex over (T)}ik , and calculating a corresponding duty cycle fik during which said station (k) needs to connect to said access point (APi) to receive said requested throughput Tik. The single radio station is arranged for performing the scheduling and parameter estimation of the method and communicating means for connecting any station (k) to an access point (APi) according to the obtained scheduling.

Abstract:
A system and method for training and validating ML algorithms in real networks, including: generating synthetic traffic and receiving it along with real traffic; aggregating the received traffic into network flows by using metadata and transforming them to generate a first dataset readable by the ML algorithm, comprising features defined by the metadata; labelling the traffic and selecting a subset of the features from the labelled dataset used in an iterative training to generate a trained model; filtering out a part of real traffic to obtain a second labelled dataset; and selecting a subset of features from the second labelled dataset used for validating the trained model by comparing predicted results for the trained model and the labels; repeating the steps with a different subset of features to generate another trained model until results are positive in terms of precision or accuracy.

Abstract:
A system, method and device for error detection/estimation in OFDM communications systems is proposed. The disclosed mechanism allows an efficient error prediction in a received packet, without having to perform full FEC decoding of the packet that could impair the overall latency of the system due to the time spent in a complete FEC decoding of the packet. In order to do that, it generates a decision variable with the aim to check whether a received packet has errors or not, after performing only partial FEC decoding of the packet, without either resorting to the use of error-detection codes.
