The present invention relates to green tea with a camellia flavor having excellent palatability and a production method of same, and more specifically, to green tea with a camellia flavor having excellent palatability by coating green tea produced by an announced method with the camellia flavor and mixing camellia petals with the coated green tea, and a production method of same. According to the present invention, a flavor which a user could not feel from existing green tea is expressed by offing the camellia flavor to the single taste of the green tea, and the unique fresh flavor and astringent taste of the green tea are masked, thereby providing the green tea with the camellia flavor with improved palatability.

PURPOSE: A novel Lactobacillus platarum Apsulloc 331263(deposit number: KCCM11180P) is provided to produce less amount of lactic acid, and to obtain food with soft texture. CONSTITUTION: Lactobacillus plantarum APsulloc 331263(deposit number: KCCM11180P) is isolated from Camellia sinensis leaves. The lactobacillus plantarum has acid resistance at pH 2.0-4.0 for 0.5-5 hours. The lactobacillus plantarum has bile acid resistance and produces lactic acid containing 70% or less of type D lactic acid. A composition contains the Lactobacillus plantarum or a culture medium thereof.
