Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for diagnosing RA(Rheumatoid Arthritis) are provided to measure JSW(Joint Space Width) by automatically selecting ROI(Region Of Interest) from an X-ray. CONSTITUTION: A JSW(Joint Space Width) measuring module(110) measures a JSW from an X-ray image. A database(120) stores JSW information of each group from statistics about a normal group, and seropositive RA and seronegative RA groups. A diagnosis module(130) diagnoses RA by comparing the measured JSW with the JSW of each group stored in the database.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for converting an image for analyzing dental caries are provided to obtain an accurate image for determining the dental caries from an x-ray dental image by using image process and digital subtraction technology. CONSTITUTION: A preprocessing module(110) preprocesses an X-ray dental image. An image conversion module(120) converts an original image preprocessed by the preprocessing module into an image for determining dental caries through a digital subtraction and conversion process. The preprocessing module generates the original image through size compensation and filtering process by removing background noises from the x-ray dental image. The image conversion module includes a first digital subtraction process module(121) to generate a digital subtraction image and a second digital subtraction process module(122) to generate dental caries images.
