Abstract: 본 고안은 자체 뚜껑을 갖는 종이컵에 관한 것으로 본인의 선출원 실용신안등록출원 제2000-36531호의 개량고안에 관한 것이다.
주지하는 바와 같이 자판기용이나 기타 커피용으로 사용되는 소용량 종이컵은 6.5 oz로서 뚜껑이 사용되지 않으나 패스트 푸드점 또는 휴게소 등에서 주로 사용되는 음료용 종이컵은 9 oz 이상의 대용량 종이컵으로서 통상 플라스틱으로 된 뚜껑을 씌워 음료를 제공하게 된다. 그러나, 최근 환경 호르몬 문제가 사회적 문제로 대두 되면서 플라스틱 용기는 법적으로 제제를 받게되어 향후 식품 용기에 합성수지 제품의 사용이 금지됨에 따라 플라스틱 뚜껑의 개선 문제가 시급한 해결과제가 되었다.
본 고안은 컵통체 상단 일측을 원판형으로 하여 뚜껑을 돌출 형성하는 한편, 뚜껑을 닫았을때 걸려질 수 있도록 통체의 내측에서 외측으로 돌출시켜 한 줄의 돌출테를 형성하고, 이 돌출테가 뚜껑에도 전체적으로 둘러져 형성되므로서, 뚜껑 개방시 뚜껑의 원판을 따라 하부측에 형성된 절첩라인과 더불어 손으로 압을 가하여 밀었을 때 2단 관절 작용되어 손잡이 없이도 용이하게 뚜껑의 개방이 이루어 질 수 있도록 한 것이다.
