Abstract: PURPOSE: A multi band antenna in a wireless communication system and a device and a method for controlling an operation frequency are provided to change a resonant frequency of an antenna by connecting a switch by selecting one among a plurality of shorting pins with different paths. CONSTITUTION: A first shorting pin(303) and a second shorting pin are embedded in a housing(311). A distance between the first shorting pin and a radiation patch(301) is shorter than the distance between the second shorting pin and the radiation patch. A switch connects first or second shorting pin to the radiation patch. The switch couples the shorting pin with the radiation patch. A multiband antenna is an IFA(Inverted F-Antenna) or PIFA(Planar Inverted F-Antenna). The multiband antenna changes the resonant frequency of the multiband antenna by changing the size of the coupling according to the distance between the radiation patch and the shorting pin.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A fabrication method for an antenna device of a mobile communication terminal is provided to reduce costs for designing the antenna device by easily controlling the characteristics of the antenna device. CONSTITUTION: A radiation patterns are selected(12) according to a use frequency band. Magneto-dielectric modules are selected and manufactured(13) and controls the resonant frequency of the radiation patterns. Dielectric modules are selected and manufactured(14). Dielectric modules control the resonant frequency of the radiation patterns. The radiation pattern having resonant frequencies required for a terminal is selected and manufactured(15). At least one of the magneto-dielectric modules and dielectric modules is installed in the radiation pattern.
