Abstract: An inverter control circuit and a method of controlling this circuit are provided to control an inverter and variably control the inverter's output. This inverter control circuit includes a key input means with at least one driving mode key; a driving control means producing a pulse width modulating signal with a duty cycle in response to a ratio of first and second periods on receipt of the driving mode key; a pulse converting means alternatingly first and second driving pulse signals with a pulse width corresponding to one of the first and second periods of the pulse width modulating signal; and an inverter means switching DC driving power by a different polarity for a pulse period of the first and second driving pulse signals, and producing AC power.
