Abstract: PURPOSE: A coating apparatus using a heat source is provided to prevent moisture absorbtion and falling of a photo-conductor by promptly drying the photo-conductor, thereby coating a drum in equal thickness. CONSTITUTION: In a coating apparatus including a solution container(37) filled with a photo-conductor(33) to coat a surface of a drum(31), the coating apparatus includes a heat source(35) separated from the drum and the solution container to move at regular speed according to the movement of the solution container and to supply heat to dry the photo-conductor of the surface of the drum, wherein the heat source includes a hot air generating unit generating hot air, a hot air supply unit supplying hot air to the drum, and a hot air passage connecting the hot air generating unit and the hot air supply unit to pass hot air.
