Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for controlling a tilt of an optical disk drive is provided to include three controlling screws for coupling a main base with a motor base and elevating the motor base by an elastic force of an elastic coupler, thereby controlling the tilt without changing absolute height of an optical disk. CONSTITUTION: A motor base installs a spindle motor(110) inside, and employs three small controlling holes(231,232,233). Three controlling screws(230) couple a main base(130) with the motor base by being connected to elastic bosses(220) through the controlling holes, and elevates the motor base by an elastic force of the elastic bosses. The motor base forms the 2 controlling holes in radial direction, on the basis of a rotation axis of the spindle motor, and forms the 1 controlling hole in tangential direction. The controlling screws are coupled with the elastic bosses through the controlling holes.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A tray guide structure of an optical disc drive is provided to closely couple rails with rail covers in guide rails in a dual structure, thereby improving the strength thereof and firmly supporting a tray. CONSTITUTION: A tray guide structure of an optical disc drive includes guide rails(180,190) slidably mounted at both sides of a lower case(110) of a housing(100), guide rail supporting elements(111-114) provided at both sides of the lower case for preventing the deviation of the guide rails out of reciprocating paths thereof, rail coupling parts(131) formed at both sides of a tray(130) longitudinally and slidably coupled with the guide rails, forward restraining elements for restraining the forward movement distance of the guide rails and the tray to prevent the deviation of the tray out of the housing, and vertical and horizontal restraining elements for restraining the tray in the vertical and horizontal direction when the tray is inserted in the housing, thereby preventing the vertical and horizontal movement of the tray in the housing. Each of the guide rails includes a rail in the shape for receiving the rail coupling parts and slidably contacting the rail coupling parts, and a rail cover fixed outside the rail and slidably contacting the lower case.

Abstract: An actuator loading/unloading device includes a block unit disposed at a base of a disc drive to be positioned outside a disc, a lamp member positioned on the block unit so that the lamp member is lifted from or lowered down on the block unit, an actuator being parked on the loading/unloading device by constraining a side end portion of a swing arm of the actuator during loading/unloading of the actuator, a stopper to restrict a lifting range of the lamp member, and a lifting/lowering unit to lift or lower the lamp member between the block unit and the stopper. The lifting/lowering unit includes a magnet inserted into a bottom surface of the lamp member, and an electromagnet inserted into a top surface of the block unit, facing the magnet. Abstract: PURPOSE: An actuator loading/unloading device of a disk drive is provided to lift and lower a lamp member when an actuator is restricted, to separate the actuator from a disk while unloading the actuator, even though the disk is not perfectly taken out to an external side, thereby preventing collision with the disk by maintaining a stable parking state of the actuator. As the actuator moves to an external side of the disk while unloading, the optical head is parked to an actuator loading/unloading device(300).
