Abstract: PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to allow a front exterior of a main body to be easily changed according to user's choice. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a main body(10) with an inlet(13) formed on a front side thereof to introduce indoor air; an opening and closing member(20) opening and closing the inlet; a decorative cover(30) detachably mounted on the opening and closing member; and a fixing unit detachably mounting the decorative cover to the opening and closing member. The fixing unit is a fastening member(31) allowing a front side of the opening and closing member and a rear side of the decorative cover to stick to each other. Alternatively, The fixing unit includes a groove and a protrusion formed on the front side of the opening and closing member and the rear side of the decorative cover correspondingly to each other so as to be coupled to each other or released from each other, or includes a coupling hole formed on the opening and closing member to penetrate the opening and closing member, and a joining protrusion protruding from the rear side of the decorative cover to be inserted and coupled to the coupling hole.
