Abstract: PURPOSE: A terminal and a communication method thereof are provided to offer a wireless communication service even if a base station is damaged. CONSTITUTION: A mobile repeater or relay mode multi-function terminal(130') is selected as a terminal which executes a repeater role. The mobile repeater or relay mode multi-function terminal receives information for a scanning section assigned by an upper base station from the upper base station. The mobile repeater or relay mode multi-function terminal transmits information for the scanning section to the lower terminal receiving a service. Abstract: PURPOSE: A direct communication conducting method between terminals is provided to simultaneously support cellular communication and direct communication between terminals by mutually allocating basic direct communication resources regardless of a base station.
