Abstract: 본 발명은 지상파 DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting)/DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) 콘텐츠를 제작하여 DMB 송신 시스템으로 송출하는 데이터 서비스 시스템에 있어서, 콘텐츠 스트림을 입력받는 버퍼, 콘텐츠 스트림에 대한 프로그램 정보를 입력받아 고속정보채널(FIC: Fast Information Channel) 데이터를 구성하는 고속정보채널 구성부, 고속정보채널 구성부로부터 수신한 고속정보채널(FIC) 데이터와 상기 버퍼에서 읽어들인 콘텐츠 스트림을 이용하여 앙상블 전송 인터페이스(ETI: Ensemble Transport Interface) 프레임을 제작하는 ETI 프레임 제작부를 포함한다.
본 발명에 따르면, 종래의 데이터 서비스가 지상파 DMB 송신 시스템이 지원해주는 인터페이스만을 이용해야 하므로 송신 시스템의 특성에 종속되어 개발될 수 밖에 없었던 것과는 달리, 컨텐츠 제공자가 이 시스템을 사용하여 표준 인터페이스인 ETI 프레임 신호로 출력해 주도록 함으로써 송신 시스템의 종류에 관계없이 데이터 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
