Abstract:
A human body communication method using a multi-carrier modulation scheme is provided to reduce interference between users by using a limited frequency band and to increase the utilization of frequencies by using QPSK(Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) or QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) within the limited frequency band instead of transmitting high-speed digital signals. A control part judges whether a channel is usable(S710). The control part forms a plurality of subchannels having a certain bandwidth(S720). The control part confirms whether interference signals, received from peripheral devices, exist within the bandwidth of the subchannels(S730). The control part determines a modulation scheme for the subchannels according to the existence or nonexistence of interference signals(S740). Based on the determined modulation scheme, the control part maps data onto symbol data(S750). The control part loads a subcarrier with the symbol data.

A method for transmitting data by variably changing an inter-frame space according to a data transfer rate in a wireless LAN system is provided to be compatible with a conventional wireless LAN system, and to minimize channel loss. A method for transmitting data by variably changing an inter-frame space according to a data transfer rate in a wireless LAN system includes the steps of: checking whether a station supports a variable inter-frame space when the station requests registration; commanding the station to use the variable inter-frame space if the station supports the variable inter-frame space; transmitting data transfer rate information for determining the variable inter-frame space to the station so as to make the station transmit the inter-frame space by varying the inter-frame space according to the data transfer rate; and commanding all registered stations to use a fixed inter-frame space if the station does not support the variable inter-frame space.

본 발명은 인체를 매질로 하는 통신 장치, 이를 이용하는 인체 통신 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 인체에 직접 접촉된 통신 장치가 전송하고자 하는 데이터 신호가 포함된 미세 전류를 인체에 흘려보냄으로써 인체를 매질로 하는 통신이 이루어진다. 또한, 다수의 통신 장치가 인체에 접촉되어 네트워크를 구성하고, 상기 다수의 통신 장치 중 하나의 통신 장치-마스터 멤버-가 그 외의 통신 장치-슬레이브 멤버-에게 정보를 요청하는 메시지를 전극을 통하여 브로드캐스트하고, 이에 대한 응답 메시지를 전송한 슬레이브 멤버들에 대한 멤버 테이블을 구성하여 네트워크 내의 데이터 통신을 제어한다. 마스터 멤버는 주기적으로 메시지를 브로드캐스팅하여 새로운 네트워크 참여자를 실시간으로 관리한다. 기저 대역 신호, 인체 매질, 마스터 멤버(master member), 슬레이브 멤버(slave member)

Provided are a method and apparatus for displaying information of a traffic signal in the form of a character, a symbol, or an emoticon. The apparatus includes: wired/wireless communication means receiving predetermined information to be displayed from a central control center in wired/wireless; authentication means determining authenticity of the predetermined information received from the wired/wireless communication means; safety determination means determining whether drivers and pedestrians are safe, if it is determined that the received information is authentic, display means displaying the received information in a predetermined presentation form according to the resulted obtained by the safety determination means.

사용자 인증 카드를 이용하여 쇼핑 카트의 사용에 대한 인증을 수행하는 쇼핑 카트 사용자 인증 시스템 및 그 제어 방법이 개시되어 있다. 본 발명은 사용자 인증 카드를 인식하면 인증 서버에 접속하여 상기 사용자 인증 카드의 사용자 인증 승인을 요청하고, 상기 인증 서버로부터 인증 성공 여부를 확인하면 카트 연결 고리를 해제하는 쇼핑 카트 사용 단계, 쇼핑 카트 연결고리를 다른 쇼핑 카트 연결 고리에 연결하면 인증 서버로 사용자 인증 해제를 요청 사용자 인증 카드를 반환하는 쇼핑 카트 반환 단계를 포함한다.

본 발명은 휴대전화 단말기의 이동여부에 따라 진동/무음 모드 설정상태에서 벨소리 모드로 자동으로 변경하는 휴대 단말기의 진동/무음 모드 해제 장치 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 기지국으로부터 송출되는 신호를 검출하고, 검출된 신호를 이용하여 휴대전화 단말기의 이동속도를 측정한다. 측정한 이동속도와 미리 설정된 기준속도와 비교하여 이동속도가 기준속도를 초과하는 경우 진동/무음 모드를 해제하는 것으로 판단하여 진동/무음 모드를 해제한다. 이때, 이동속도를 측정하는 방법은 검출된 신호의 세기의 변화량을 이용하여 측정하는 방법, 도플러 현상을 이용하여 측정하는 방법, 타이밍 오프셋을 이용하여 측정하는 방법 등 여러 방법을 통해 가능하다. 이와 같이 자동으로 진동/무음 모드를 해제함으로써 사용자가 진동/무음 모드로 인해 자신에게 걸려오는 전화를 인지하지 못하는 문제를 해결할 수 있다.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically searching a wireless LAN(Local Area Network) AP(Access Point) by using broadcasting information of a base station and a method therefor are provided to prevent power waste by driving a wireless LAN module only when the wireless LAN AP exists. CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station)(11) acquires broadcasting information provided in a service area of a base station through a mobile communication module(22). The MS(11) confirms whether a currently serviced wireless LAN AP exists on the basis of the acquired broadcasting information. If the wireless LAN AP exists, the MS(11) drives a wireless LAN module(21), detects a beacon signal of the wireless LAN AP, and receives a data service through the wireless LAN AP.

PURPOSE: A signal message comparing system in a software conformance testing for a mobile terminal of an IMT-2000 asynchronous method is provided to reduce a load for message comparison and decoding by determining whether a message exchange procedure is normal by using only a signal message of a lower layer and decoding only an error-generated message. CONSTITUTION: A message receiver(50) receives a layer 3 signal message from a mobile terminal. A message manager(60) generates a comparison signal message of the same expression format as the layer 3 signal message by a user. A message judging unit(70) reads the comparison signal message and the layer 3 signal message and compares them with each other, and judges whether a message exchange procedure is in a normal/abnormal state. A message decider(80) decodes the layer 3 signal message and the comparison signal message if they are judged not to be the same. A message information factor comparator(90) compares the two messages by the unit of information factor to check whether there is an error. A screen output unit(95) outputs an information factor on a screen whenever an error occurs in the message information factor comparator(90). The message manager(60) includes a message database(65) for storing the comparison signal message generated by the user in a file format.

PURPOSE: A terminal diagnostic machine and its automatic executing and use environment maintaining method are provided to maintain the same use environment of a terminal even though the terminal is re-driven. CONSTITUTION: A diagnostic controller(140) receives a diagnostic command from diagnostic command receiver(160) and transfers it to a terminal function performing unit(120), and receives a diagnostic result from the terminal function performing unit(120) and transfers it to a diagnostic result transmitter(180). A diagnostic command receiver(160) receives a diagnostic command from a terminal DM(Diagnostic Machine)(200) and transfers it to the diagnostic controller(140). The diagnostic result transmitter(180) receives the diagnostic result from the diagnostic controller(140) and transfers it to the terminal DM(200). The terminal function performing unit(120) performs various functions to be performed by a terminal, and generates and transfers the diagnostic result to the diagnostic controller(140) upon request. A user interface unit(220) obtains requirement from a user of the terminal DM(200) through a GUI(Graphic User Interface) image and transfers it to a diagnostic processor(260) and at the same time stores it in a use environment DB(240). In addition, the user interface unit(220) outputs a diagnostic result received from the diagnostic processor(260) to a user through the GUI image. The diagnostic processor(260) processes the user requirement received from the user interface unit(220) to generate a diagnostic command recognizable by the diagnostic controller(140) and transfers it to a diagnostic command transmitter(290). The diagnostic command transmitter(290) transfers the diagnostic command to the terminal. A diagnostic result receiver(280) receives a diagnostic result from the terminal and transfers it to the diagnostic processor(260).

PURPOSE: A method for allocating an initial power value of a packet access channel is provided to decide an initial power level used in a random access process of a wireless subscriber network system, so as to minimize an interference to a user performing a call, and to speedily perform a packet service. CONSTITUTION: A packet access channel decides whether present used traffic channels exist, to decide an initial power level for a packet random access process. If so, the packet access channel decides a power level applied to the presently-used traffic channels as the initial power level of the packet random access process. If the presently-used traffic channels do not exist, the packet access channel receives traffic channels and sets up temporary traffic channels(400c,500a), then decides a power level applied to the temporary traffic channels(400c,500a) as the initial power level of the packet random access process. The packet access channel generates a power control command for deciding an initial power level of a next access channel, by using a result received by applying a different processing gain relating to data transmitted to a base station(500). The packet access channel transmits the power control command to a terminal station(400) as signal channels(400b,500b) for broadcasting.
