Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus for supporting medicine taking and a method thereof are provided to assist a user in accurately and regularly taking medicine by automatically, accurately, and regularly discharging medicine according to a prescription. CONSTITUTION: A medicine box(110) mounts medicine bottles. Medicines are kept in the medicine box according to the kind of medicine. A controller(130) receives a medicine taking schedule, which dynamically changes, from a server. The controller notifies a user of a medicine taking time according to the received medicine taking schedule. Discharging units(120) discharge the medicines based on the number of prescriptions a user has, if it is time for a user to take medicine.

본 발명은 표정 인식을 위한 얼굴 영상 입력 장치 및 그의 동작 방법에 관한 것으로, 사용자 신체에 장착된 초음파 발신부로부터 발신되는 초음파 신호를 수신하는 초음파 수신부; 상기 초음파 신호를 분석하여 상기 사용자가 얼굴 영상 획득 구역내에 위치하는지를 판단하는 거리 측정부; 상기 사용자가 얼굴 영상 획득 구역내에 위치하면, 상기 얼굴 영상 획득 구역을 촬영하여 상기 사용자의 얼굴 영상을 획득하는 영상 획득부; 및 상기 얼굴 영상을 광원별 선형변환행렬을 통해 변환한 후 기준 광원 보정행렬을 통해 보정하여 광원별 얼굴 보정 영상들을 획득하고, 상기 광원별 얼굴 보정 영상들 중에서 기준 얼굴 비율과 가장 유사한 얼굴 검출 비율을 가지는 하나의 얼굴 보정 영상만을 출력하는 영상 처리부를 포함하여 구성되며, 이에 의하여 시스템 자원이 불필요하게 낭비되는 것을 방지하고 시스템 동작의 효율을 증대시킬 뿐만 아니라 촬영된 얼굴 영상을 D65(데이 라이트) 광원 하에서의 색상 값으로 보정하여 표정 인식을 위한 작업이 보다 정확하게 수행되도록 할 수 있다. 얼굴 영상, 영상 입력, 표정 인식, 이미지 처리

A method and an apparatus for providing service to inquire after the health condition of an old person are provided to collect the daily life information of an old person and supply the information to a guardian or a public organization so that the guardian or the organization may know the time that the old person needs assistance. Plural sensors(111,112,11n) generates and transmits a sensing signal for informing the daily life or health state of an old person, and a signal processor analyzes the sensing signal and generates daily life information of the old person. An emergency processor(124) informs a guardian or a public organization of the emergency situation of the old person and generates emergency situation alarming information if the daily life information is related to emergency situation. An abnormal signal processor(125) analyzes the daily life information for an abnormal sensing interval to generates abnormal situation alarming information. A health condition inquiry processor(126) generates inquiry information and provides a monitoring sever(330) with the inquiry information.

An apparatus for comparison of protein structure is provided to screen proteins having similar structure to a testing protein in realtime, find evolution evidence of a protein, and reduce the screening time by using 3D RDA(relative direction angle) and a Fourier descriptor. An apparatus for comparison of protein structure comprises: a coding tool(11) for coding the three dimensional relative direction angle relative to analysis protein data inputted from the outside or a testing protein data; a Fourier conversion tool(12) for converting the coded 3D RDA value to obtain a Fourier constant; a comparison tool(16) for comparing the Fourier constant of the analysis protein data with that of the testing protein data; and an output tool(17) for outputting the protein data according to similarity sequence based on the comparison results.

A visual enhancement device for a visually-handicapped person is provided to detect accurately information about the current location and distance of an obstacle by using an ultrasonic beam forming method. A visual enhancement device for a visually-handicapped person includes a recognition unit(10) and a stimulation unit(20). The recognition unit detects the current location of an obstacle and a distance from the obstacle through an ultrasonic beam forming method. The stimulation unit receives obstacle information from the recognition unit and stimulates the skin of a user according to intensity and intervals corresponding to the obstacle information. The recognition unit includes a spectacle frame(11) having a wireless communication part(11a) for transmitting the obstacle information of the stimulation unit and a lens part(12) having an ultrasonic sensor array(12a) for converting received ultrasonic waves to the obstacle information through an ultrasonic beam forming algorithm.

An apparatus and a method for detecting fall-down, and a system and a method for emergency aid using the same are provided to allow elderly persons to enjoy their safe life irrespective of a place and a time by using a portable terminal. An apparatus for detecting fall-down includes a storing unit, an angular velocity measuring unit, an acceleration measuring unit, an acceleration extracting unit(15), and a fall-down determining unit(16). The storing unit stores fall-down data vectors. The angular velocity measuring unit measures an angular velocity value. The acceleration measuring unit measures an acceleration value. The acceleration extracting unit extracts a kinetic acceleration value and a gravitational acceleration value by filtering the acceleration value measured by the acceleration measuring unit. The fall-down determining unit converts the angular velocity value which is measured by the angular velocity measuring unit, and the kinetic acceleration value and the gravitational acceleration value which are extracted by the acceleration extracting unit, into a fall-down data vector, and determines a user's fall-down by comparing the converted fall-down data vector with the fall-down data vector stored in the storing unit.

A device and a method for comparing protein structures through PCA(Principal Component Analysis) and autocorrelation are provided to use a geometrical shape of the proteins, and compare the protein structures through the PCA and the autocorrelation, thereby measuring similarity between input proteins. A PCA calculator(110) extracts a main axis by receiving a queried protein from the outside. A voxel generator(120) generates voxels by determining inclusion of the protein after a main axis extraction result is received from the PCA calculator and whole area is divided by grids. A comparator(130) calculates the similarity by performing the autocorrelation between the protein voxels generated from the voxel generator. The comparator performs the autocorrelation by using FTP(File Transfer Protocol).
