Disclosed is a method for scheduling transmission by grouping stations. The method for scheduling transmission by grouping station includes a step of physically grouping a plurality of stations based on the position of the station by a plurality of sectors; a step of logically grouping each physical group grouped through the physical grouping based on common properties which the stations included in each physical group have; a step of transmitting access scheduling information scheduled in order for each logical group grouped through the logical grouping to have access to an access point at different time sections; and a step of controlling the accesses of the stations according to the access scheduling information.

A method and a device for discovering a sector in a wireless LAN system are provided. A sector discovery method of an AP in a wireless LAN system includes: a step of setting sector beacon sections for transmitting a sector beacon for any sector among sectors which is formed by spatially separating an access point (AP) and an omni-beacon section for transmitting an omnidirectional beacon; a step of transmitting a sector beacon for the one current sector among the sectors; a step of transmitting a transmission frame which has a mark showing that the transmission is sector transmission or a transmission frame which has a mark showing that the transmission is omnidirectional transmission to the current sector in a sector interval between the sector beacon sections; and a step for receiving the transmission frame which has the mark showing that the transmission is sector transmission and receiving a response frame which shows association from a terminal located in the current sector.

본 발명은 무선 근거리통신망에서 서로 다른 서비스 품질(QoS: Quality of Service)을 가지는 트래픽(traffic)에 대한 플로우(flow)를 MAC(Medium Access Control) 계층에서 제어(control)하는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 수신부, 수신 대기열(RX Queue) 및 수신확인 전송부를 포함하는 무선 LAN에서의 수신 장치가 제공된다. 수신부는 패킷을 수신한다. 수신 대기열은 수신된 패킷을 디코딩한다. 수신확인 전송부는 패킷이 성공적으로 수신되었음을 알리는 메시지를 전송한다. 수신 대기열이 풀(Full) 상태인 경우, 수신확인 전송부는 소정의 시간만큼 패킷이 성공적으로 수신되었음을 알리는 메시지의 전송을 보류한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 트래픽에 대한 플로우를 효과적으로 제어하고, 다양한 QoS를 만족시킬 수 있다.

본 발명은 무선 근거리통신망(LAN: Local Area Network)에서 다양한 서비스 품질(QoS: Quality of Service)을 가지는 트래픽(traffic)을 적응적으로 집성(aggregation)하여 A-MPDU를 생성하고, A-MPDU를 전송하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면 무선 LAN에서 A-MPDU(Aggregate Medium access control Protocol Data Unit)를 전송하는 방법이 제공된다. 상기 A-MPDU 전송 방법은 접근 범주(AC: Access Category)의 트래픽 전송 상황에 기반하여 집성 패킷 카운터(APC: Aggregated Packet Counter)의 최댓값을 설정하는 단계, 전송하고자 하는 복수의 패킷들의 서비스 품질(QoS: Quality of Service)을 고려하여 크기 임계치(ST: Size Threshold)를 설정하는 단계, 복수의 패킷들을 집성(aggregation)하여 A-MPDU를 생성하는 단계 및 A-MPDU를 전송하는 단계를 포함한다.
