Abstract: Provided is a method for managing a low duty operation of a small base station. The small base station determines a low duty cycle pattern in which an available section to perform a transmission operation by activating a wireless interface and an unavailable section in which the transmission operation is not performed are repeated and supplies low duty cycle pattern information including a start offset to instruct a wireless frame in which a cycle pattern starts and the length of the available interval to a terminal.
