    본 발명에 따르면, 고정창과 미닫이 형식의 슬라이드창의 결합을 통해 창짝의 개폐가 용이하고, 개폐시 강풍에 의한 파손이나 안전사고의 위험이 제거되며, 물막이턱이 트랜섬에 일체로 구성되어 있어 수밀을 위한 후처리를 하지 않아도 되므로 설치작업이 용이하고, 작업시간이 단축되며, 나아가 난간대를 설치하지 않아도 되므로 조망권이 확보됨은 물론 외관 품위도 향상되는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A ventilator for a sliding window is provided to maximize convenience and safety by the selective operation of the ventilation and the opening of a window and to maximize the esthetic performance since a ventilating unit is not externally exposed if the window is closed. CONSTITUTION: A ventilator for a sliding window comprises a fixed frame(10), a movable frame(20), a first locking unit and a second locking unit. The fixed frame is installed on the inserting groove(3) in a window frame(2). The movable frame is overlapped with the fixed frame and externally slides by a given distance to make the hanging movement. The movable frame comprises a plurality of vents in a longitudinal direction. The first locking unit pulls the rotating knob of a window(5) and automatically unlocks the window and the window frame. The second unit automatically unlocks the window and the movable frame by the operation of the opening/closing knob of the window.
