Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect ununiform space between cross line of printing type and error operation of print selection by opposing rotation force transmitting elements adjacent each other through a washer and pinching a wheel part of a printing wheel between rotation force transmitting elements and the washer. CONSTITUTION:Each cross line printing wheel 202 is supported by inserting loosely axial hole H into the outer periphery of a boss 2092 of a pawl (rotation force transmitting element) 209 disposed on each printing wheel axis 201 rotatably with the axis. Cross line pitch a of each cross line printing wheel is secured by width l of boss 2092 of the pawl 209 and thickness of a washer 210 inserted between pawls 209 of each cross line. A wheel part of the each printing wheel is pinched slightly between the pawl 209 and the washer 210. Movement of whole printing wheel along the axis 201 is controlled by a pair of engaging elements rigidly attached to the axis 201 on both sides of prints.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To compact and simplize the apparatus and secure operating connection by mounting gear and cam for controlling operation of each parts of the apparatus to a single drive shaft intensively and transmitting power to each parts. CONSTITUTION:Rotation of a motor 101 is transmitted to a cam shaft 103 and all kinds of gear and cam 108-117 for controlling each parts of the apparatus are mounted intensively about the cam shaft 103 as common driving shaft. A gear 108 just turns a printing shaft 201. A cam 109 stops a printing wheel 201 by engaging with a positioning cam 204. A gear 110 turns reversely the printing wheel 201 and a cam 111 stops the printing whel 201. A pair of cam 112, 112 symmetrically positioned detaches a ink roller 501 from each cross printing wheels 202. A pair of cam 113, 113 symmetrically positioned press fits a platen 401 to printing wheels 202. A pair of cam 114, 114 symmetcially positioned deteches the platen 401 from the printing wheels 202. A gear 115 and a cam 116 operates signal generation mechanism 300 and cams 117, 117 vary the pressure of a spring plate 217 engaged with a printing wheel selection lever 208.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fixing and removal by bringing the part to be engaged at the body section of a rubber leg into a securable state for a member being fixed, when an inserting/removing member is present in a hole at the body section of the rubber leg and bring the part to be engaged at the body section into a state removable from the member being fixed, when the inserting/ removing member is released from the hole at the body section. SOLUTION: A thin planar member 20 to be fixed is provided with a through- hole 20H to be engaged with the groove 26g of a rubber leg 26 and an inserting/ removing member 28 is arranged in a through-hole 26a which extends to the inner center along an axis common with the central axis of the through-hole 20H. Under a state where the entirety of the inserting/removing member 28 is held between the end of the through hole 26a on the flange part 26f side and an intermediate part, the part to be engaged at the body section of the rubber leg 26 is secured to the member 20 to be fixed. When the inserting/ removing member 28 is released from the through-hole 26a at the body section of the rubber leg 26, the part to be engaged at the body section is brought into a state, where it can be released from the member 20 to be fixed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to guide the tip of a recording sheet to a nip part even under the condition that the recording sheet has a curled tip by a method wherein a recording sheet introducing means, which acts when at least the recording sheet tip reaches the nip part between a discharge roller and a discharge pinch roller, is provided. SOLUTION: When a recording sheet tip passes through the nip part L between an upstream side discharge roller 4f and a spur roller 4g by feeding a recording sheet 5 to the direction indicated with the arrow A in response to recording data for line feeding, a carriage 4b moves to a guide rail lifting position. When a guide rail 4b is lifted, the upstream side spur roller 4g supported by the guide rail 4h also pivots, resulting in opening the nip part L. By carrying out a predetermined amount of feeding for line feeding of the recording sheet 5 to the direction indicated with the arrow A by means of a feed roller 4d under the state that the nip part L is opened, the tip of the recording sheet 5 can be introduced between the discharge roller 4f and the spur roller 4g.
