    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording fluid excellent in the fastness of a print always capable of stable delivery even when driving condition are fluctuated and even when it is used for a long period of time, and excellent in long- term shelf stability. SOLUTION: Neutral or basic carbon black is used in combination with at least one water-soluble resin selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid/butyl acrylate methyl methacrylate copolymers and styrene/maleic ester/ maleic anhydride copolymer in an aq. liq. medium, provided that the carbon black to water-soluble resin ratio is in the range of 3:1 to 10:1 by weight.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the recording ink having excellent abrasion properties on a material to be printed, mechanical fastness, etc., by adding an adduct compound of a polyisocyanate with an amino-alcohol to water-based pigment ink comprising water, a water-soluble organic solvent and a pigment dispersion. CONSTITUTION:The water-based pigment ink is obtained by blending water- based pigment ink comprising (A) water, (B) a water-soluble organic solvent (e.g. ethylene glycol, hexylene glycol or ethanol) and (C) a pigment dispersion composed of pigment (preferably 1-20%, more preferably 2-12% by weight ratio) and a dispersant (e.g. styrene or vinylnaphthalene) with 0.5-15wt.%, preferably 3-10wt.% in ink of an adduct of a polyisocyanate with an amino-alcohol of preferably formula I, formula II or formula III (R is polyisocyanate residue; R1 to R4 are amino-alcohol residue) (e.g. compound of formula IV).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain recording images showing good printing quality and superior fastness to any kind of general papers, by applying or spraying a solution containing fine particles or binder polymers to a recording medium prior to the inkjet recording. CONSTITUTION:By the inkjet recording method, a recording liquid containing pigments, a water-soluble solvent and water is discharged in drops from fine openings, thereby to perform recording. In this case, before recording is started, a solution containing fine particles, or fine particles and binder polymers is applied or discharged/jetted to a recording medium. That is, a liquid containing fine particles or, fine particles and binder polymers is jetted from a sub head 1b to a recording paper 2. Then, the recording liquid is jetted from a main head 1a a predetermined time later, thereby to perform recording. The heads 1a and 1b having a common part 3 are set beforehand so that the ink drops jetted out from the main head 1a agree with landing points of the liquid drops from the sub head 1b.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a recording liquid containing a pigment and a dye each having specific structures, water soluble resin, water soluble organic solvent and water, being Magenta excellent in water resistance and light stability of recording image and vivid in color tone and good in discharge stability. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid contains (A) a pigment of formula I (R is H, methyl or Cl), (B) a dye of formula II (Y is H, methyl, methoxy, etc.; X is acetyl, benzoyl, paratoluenesulfonyl, etc. ; M , M and M are alkali metal, ammonium or amines), (C) water soluble resin (preferably styrene-acrylic acid copolymer), (D) water soluble organic solvent and (E) water (preferably ion exchange water) and being (15:1) to (30:1) in weight ratio of the component A to the component C. The component D is preferably used in combination of triol such as glycerin or polyhydric alcohol such as triethylene glycol and ethanol or isopropylene glycol.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject recording liquid, always and stably dischargeable and excellent in preservation stability for a long period without solidifying the ink at the head tip by dispersing a specific pigment and a water-soluble resin in the coexistence of an aqueous medium and then adding the aqueous medium to the resultant dispersion. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid is obtained by dispersing (A) a quinacridone-based compound pigment expressed by the formula (R is H, CH3 or Cl) and (B) a water-soluble resin (preferably a styrene-acrylic acid copolymer, etc.) at (15:1) to (30:1) weight ratio in the coexistence of (C) an aqueous medium and then adding the component (C) to the resultant pigment dispersion. The obtained recording liquid contains the components (A) to (C). A mixed solvent of ion exchange water with a water-soluble organic solvent is preferred as the component (C). Triols such as glycerol are preferred as the water-soluble organic solvent. Ethanol or isopropyl alcohol in an amount of >=3% is preferably used in combination from the viewpoint of discharge stability of the recording liquid.
