    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease the number of terminals which are used for writing data in a memory circuit, by writing the bit-synchronized data, which are supplied following a code signal supplied from a receiving side. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal 8 is periodically guided out through an antenna 4 from a synchronizing signal circuit comprising an address counter 6 and a memory 7 so that a bit block is regenerated in the sink side. A specified code signal SW, which is supplied from the sink side, is detected with a detecting circuit 10 for an FF circuit 12. The memory 7 is switched to the writing state from the reading state on the output. Bit-synchronized data, which are supplied following the signal SW, are written in the memory 7 as the transmission data. Since the synchronized signal 8 is guided to the antenna 4 in this way, a terminal for outputted a bit-synchronizing clock signal CK is not required. When the signal CW is received, the memory 7 is switched to the writing state from the reading state, and the supplied data are sequentially written in the memory 7. Therefore, control terminals for read/write switching of the memory are not required.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect the present position of a person, etc., moving in a prescribed area with simple constitution, by arranging one transmission path connected to a receiver in a loop shape, and detecting the receiver from which a reception signal is sent based on a difference in the propagation time of the reception signal obtained via the transmission path. CONSTITUTION:The reception signals SRA and SRB inputted to first and second input terminals 2A and 2B require the propagation time corresponding to the length of the transmission path 3 from the receivers 7A-7G to the first and second input terminals 2A and 2B, respectively. Therefore, it is possible to detect the receivers 7A-7G from which the reception signals SRA and SRB are sent by detecting a time difference DELTAt between the reception signals SRA and SRB. In such a way, it is recognized that the installed places of the receivers 7A-7G indicate the present position of a desired person.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To control the direction of a parabolic antenna speedily by sending a spread spectrum signal from a mobile transmitting station side and calculating the position of the mobile transmitting station according to the signal. CONSTITUTION:When the spread spectrum signal SS1 sent out of the mobile transmitting station 2 is received by main and subordinate relay stations 3-5, received signals of the respective relay stations 3-5 have phase differences corresponding to their distances from the transmitting station 2. Here, the distances from the relay stations 3-5 to the transmitting station 2 can be calculated from the phase differences of the signal SS1. Once the distances are obtained, the position and attitude of the transmitting station 2 can be calculated from the distances and the positions and attitudes of the respective relay stations 3-4. The directions of a parabolic antenna 23 and parabolic antennas 7-9 are controlled according to the calculation results, so the parabolic antennas can be installed speedily without repeating complicate operation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable detection of the position of a moving body carrying a relay without using a wide frequency, by transmitting a clock signal as code signal of a spectrum diffusion signal received with the relay to a receiving station. CONSTITUTION:Distance measuring signals PDT of satellites are passed through a delay circuit 13, a multiplication circuit 12 and a filter circuit 14 of a relay 4 to obtain clock signals CK1-CK4 as C/A code signal. The signals CK1-CK4 are converted into a specified relay signal S1 through a frequency conversion circuit 15 and then, sent to a receiving station 20 through an antenna 17. At the receiving station 20, the signal S1 is demodulated into the signals CK1-CK4 through a frequency conversion circuit 31 and a filter circuit 32 and then, inputted into a phase difference detection circuit 33, which can calculate the position of a moving body based on phase differences between the signals CK1-CK4. With such an arrangement, the position of the moving body can be computed without using a wide frequency band by calculating the position thereof based on changes in the phase difference of the clock signals.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the reception of a spectrum signal relayed, by adding a pilot signal when a spectrum diffusion signal is relayed with the conversion of frequency. CONSTITUTION:A pilot signal SP is amplified with a frequency dividing circuit 16 within such a range that no demodulation error is allowed when spectrum diffusion signals Sd1-Sd4 are received to demodulate and in such a manner that the intensity of spectrum will not exceed that of a noise component SN and then, transmitted through an addition circuit 15. The pilot signal SP set in a specified frequency relationship is added to the center frequency of the signals Sd1-Sd4. here, it is assumed that the center frequency of the signals Sd1-Sd4 comprising relay signals relayed with a relay device 10 is unknown to a receiving station 20. Even in this case, first the pilot signal SP is detected and then, a specified frequency band range is received based on the signal SP. This facilitates the reception of the spectrum diffusion signals Sd1-Sd4, which are hard to detect below the spectrum intensity of the noise component SN.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the identification of the moving body with which a distance measuring signal is relayed on the side of a receiving station, by transmitting a relay signal with the frequency differently converted from the side of the moving body. CONSTITUTION:Through that 2A among a plurality of moving bodies, a relay signal S5A is obtained in which a pilot signal SAp is added to a distance measuring signal S3A with the center frequency thereof converted to, for example, 525.42MHz in such a manner that the frequency thereof varies centered on 500MHz with changes in the center frequency. When the signal S3A with the signal SAp added thereto is transmitted, here, based on the signal SAp, 525 plus 1.443MHz is received on the high frequency side while 525 minus 0.593MHz on the low frequency side in the sector of a receiving station with respect to a specified frequency band thereby facilitating the reception of the distance measuring signal S3A. Moreover, receiving frequency is varied with changes in the frequency of the signal SAp thereby enabling the reception of the signal S3A stably following any change in the center frequency of a local oscillation circuit 13A on the side of a relay device 10A.

CONSTITUTION:Repeating devices mounted on the plural running bodies 2(2A-2D) repeat distance measurement signals which arrive from distance measurement signal generation sources (satellite) 1A-1D on time-division basis at the position of each running body 2 to transmit repetition outputs to the CS 3. Then, the CS 3 calculates the position of a corresponding body 2 on the basis of the distance measurement signals transmitted as successive repetition outputs on time-division basis to detect the positions of all the running bodies 2 on real-time basis.
