PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming member capable of reducing formation of physical damage and mechanical damage, in particular, scratch damage on the surface during a long period of use of a belt photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An image forming member such as a photoreceptor having an outermost layer that is a structured organic film (SOF) including a plurality of segments including at least one electroactive segment and an effective amount of second fluorinated component and a plurality of linkers.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structured organic film (SOF) compositions which are exceptionally chemically and mechanically robust materials that demonstrate many properties superior to conventional photoreceptor materials and increase the photoreceptor life by preventing chemical degradation pathways caused by a xerographic process, and also provide a more stable imaging member comprising the composition with increased resistance to light shocks.SOLUTION: Provided is an imaging member, such as a photoreceptor, having an outermost layer that is a structured organic film (SOF) comprising a plurality of segments and a plurality of linkers including a first fluorinated segment and a second electroactive segment.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using a porous structured organic film (SOF) for absorbing materials, the method for storing gaseous entities, including a process of bringing the gaseous entities into contact with the absorbing materials.SOLUTION: The porous structured organic film for storing gaseous a gaseous entity and method for storing gaseous entities in a porous structured organic film are provided. The porous structured organic film includes a plurality of segments and a plurality of linkers arranged as a covalent organic framework, wherein at a macroscopic level the covalent organic framework is a film and contains a plurality of sites accessible to one or more gaseous entity.
