    Abstract: PURPOSE: A ceramic porous body, a preparation method of a glass used as a binder of the ceramic porous body and a preparation method of a ceramic filter are provided, to obtain a ceramic porous body using a glass binder with excellent acid resistance and alkali resistance which can be used as a filtration filter for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The ceramic porous body is formed by binding a ceramic particle with a glass comprising 5-20 mol% of a plural kind of metal oxides selected from the group consisting of Li2O, Na2O, K2O, MgO, CaO, SrO and BaO and containing at least two kinds of alkali metal oxides among Li2O, Na2O and K2O; 3 mol% or more of either or both of ZrO2 and TiO2; and the balance of SiO2 and inevitable impurities. The glass is prepared by mixing a glass frit containing 10-20 mol% of a plural kind of metal oxides containing at least alkali metal oxide with a silica sol, and sintering the mixture.
