Abstract: A sprayer includes a nozzle through which gas is to be ejected with positiveness and uniformity. The sprayer is provided with a nozzle having inner tubes through the interior of which liquid is to pass and an outer tube receiving the inner tubes therein and allowing gas to pass through a space defined with the inserted inner tubes. The inner tubes have respective liquid orifices through which liquids are to be ejected. The outer tube is arranged therein with the liquid orifices and a gas orifice for ejecting gas. When the nozzle is viewed from front, the outer peripheries of the liquid orifices each assume a circular form while the inner peripheries of the gas orifices are differently shaped to provide plural point contact between the outer periphery of the liquid orifice and the inner periphery of the gas orifice.

Abstract: A discharge unit (1) contains two separate delivery units (15) to be actuated in common through which the medium flows along a module (35) separate from two base bodies (4,5) to two atomizer nozzles (48) so that due to their spray cones overlapping each other the two separately emerging media are intermingled in utmost fine dispersion and, e.g. with the formation of a gelling blended medium, react with each other. As a result of this two media reacting with each other chemically or physically can be intermingled not before being outside of the discharge nozzles (48) and thereby simultaneously applied to the region of application, e.g. a mucuous membrane.

The tubular body (10) comprises an inlet end facing the connection site of the head piece (9) and an outlet end facing away from the inlet end. The tubular body (10) comprises an outer wall, which, at least sectionally, is configured such that the tubular body (10) is plastically deformable, particularly plastically bendable.

Abstract: An atomizer device capable of reducing a flowable liquid to an ultrafine dispersion of liquid particles in a propellant gas, comprising a generally smooth surface having a central portion and a peripheral portion surrounding the central portion. At least one orifice is located in the surface, in at least a partially surrounding relationship to the central portion. A propellant gas is supplied to the underside of the surface, with such propellant gas being caused to pass at considerable speed through the orifice or orifices, thus forming at least one gas jet. The propellant gas flowing through the orifice or orifices create an area of low pressure at the central portion of the surface, and create at least one passway extending radially inwardly from the peripheral portion to the central portion, which passway, quite importantly, avoids direct contact with said gas jet. Liquid to be atomized is supplied at the location of the passway, which liquid is then swept through the passway toward the area of low pressure by ambient gas flowing through the passway to the area of low pressure. From this location within the overall envelope of the propellant gas flowing out of the orifice or orifices, the liquid is entrained into the propellant gas, such entrained liquid breaking into very fine droplets in the propellant gas.

Abstract: A nozzle suitable for mixing atomized first and second components of a resin exterior to the nozzle and combining the atomized and combined resinous components with a base material such as a fibrous or granular insulation material. The nozzle comprises a front plate and a back plate, the back plate individually receiving under pressure the first component and second component of the resin, a base material and an air supply. The front and back plates are secured in registry to each other so that central passageways in the front and back plates communicate the base material through the nozzle to be exhausted onto a surface. The air supply is communicated through the back plate to a continuous channel on the surface of the back plate in registry with the front plate and the first and second components of the resin are transmitted through the back plate by means of single passageways on either side of the continuous air channel. A pair of continuous channels on the surface of the front plate individually communicate with the passageways for the first and second resinous components. A plurality of air holes on the surface of the front plate in registry with the back plate communicates with the continuous air channel on the back plate. Each of the continuous channels on the front plate contain a plurality of apertures, one plurality leading to a corresponding plurality of atomizer jets on the outside surface of the front plate and the other plurality leading to a second corresponding plurality of jets on the outside surface of the front plate. The air holes in the front plate are drilled at angles such that the air supply communicates with both pluralities of atomizer jets. The first and second components of the resin are therefore individually atomized and combined with a base material exterior to the nozzle.
