Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing system for aiming to reduce cost in a flooring board. SOLUTION: This fixing system is for mechanically joining the flooring board 1 along a vertical joint surface F, and is provided with a fixing groove 14 formed on the lower side 3 of the first joint edge in a place a little separate from the joint surface F for joining orthogonal to the joint surface F, and a certain part P for supporting a fixing element 8 for cooperating with the fixing groove 14 in a place a little separate from the joint surface F under the first joint edge, by projecting from a lower part of the second joint edge 4a. A projecting part 2 is positioned on the whole outside surface of the joint surface F. The projecting part P presents at least mutually different two horizontally juxtaposed parts P1 and P2 on at least one of a parameter, a material composition and a material characteristic. The invention relates to a locking system for mechanical joining of floorboards (1) along a vertical joint plane (F), and a floorboard comprising such a locking system. For joining perpendicular to the joint plane (F) there is a locking groove formed in the underside (3) of a first joint edge at a distance from the joint plane (F), and a portion (P) projecting from the lower part of the second joint edge (4a) and below the first joint edge and, at a distance from the joint plane (F), supporting a locking element (8) cooperating with the locking groove (14), said projecting portion (2) thus being located entirely outside the joint plane (F). The projecting portion (P) presents at least two horizontally juxtaposed parts (P1, P2), which differ from each other in respect of at least one of the parameters material composition and material properties.
Abstract:
A flooring material comprises sheet-shaped floor elements (1) with a mainly square or rectangular shape. Each of the floor elements (1) is provided with a male joining member (10 I ) on a first edge (2 I ) while a second edge (2 II ) of each of the floor elements (1) is provided with a female joining member (10 II ). The floor elements (1), on a third edge (2 III ), are provided with a male vertical assembly joining member (10 III ) while a fourth edge (2 IV ) is provided with a female vertical assembly joining member (10 IV ). The male and female vertical assembly joining members (10 III and 10 IV respectively) are provided with one or more hooks (23) with matching under cuts (24) which, by being provided with mainly horizontal locking surfaces, limit the vertical movement between two joined adjacent floor elements (1). The joint between two joined floor elements (1) further comprises cavities (6), and said hook (23) is constituted by a separate part (7) which is placed in a cavity (6). Two adjacent edges (2) of a floor element (1) at the same time, and in the same turning motion can be joined with a floor element (1) adjacent to the first edge (2 I ) and a floor element adjacent to the third or fourth edge (2 III ) and 2 IV respectively).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor panel with joint portions to be mutually joined in an optimum fashion for minimizing intrusion of dust and moisture while preventing a gap therebetween, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This floor finishing material is formed of the hard floor panel having the joint portions 4, 5 in a substantial form of a tongue 9 and a groove 10 cooperating each other at the edges of at least two opposed side faces 2, 3. In the joint portions 4, 5, an integrated mechanical lock means is provided for keeping two joined floor panels perpendicular to the relative edges 2, 3 and preventing them from being shifted to the direction parallel to a lower side face 7 of the joined floor panel 1 and departed therefrom.
