Abstract:
A floor panel includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer is composed of a print and a transparent thermoplastic layer having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less and being situated above said print. The floor panel, at least on two opposite edges, is provided with a straight or curved chamfer extending to below the global level of the print.
Abstract:
Floor element for use in the gymnastics and/or fitness sector, wherein, in particular for forming a floor with a large surface area, at least one connecting means is provided on least one outer edge to connect the floor element to a further floor element, in particular of the same kind. The floor element is characterised in that the floor element is formed from an elastic, in particular permanently elastic, polyurethane integral foam. In addition the invention relates to a floor formed from a plurality of floor elements according to the invention.
Abstract:
An impact attenuating tile system that can be selectively installed and uninstalled without damaging the modular tiles making up the system is disclosed. The system uses a support ladder to support the seam between two modular tiles. The seam can support wheelchairs and other heavy equipment positioned on the seam between two tiles without the tiles coming apart. Additionally, the tiles can be selectively removed without damaging or disfiguring the tiles. The system taught herein allows a user to implement a system which provides fall height attenuation, is ADA complaint, is not prone to creating tripping hazards even under high loads, and can be removed or replaced as deemed appropriate and can be selectively removed without cutting, disfiguring compromising the tiles.
Abstract:
A modular floor tile comprising a substrate having a first land with a support surface and first and second perimeter portions each defining a second land with a surface recessed relative to the support surface, the first and second perimeter portions each defining spaced-apart T-lugs and alternating T-recesses, whereby two tiles join together by the T-recesses of a first tile receiving respective T-lugs of a second tile, and the support surface supporting footwear remote from the second land to avoid scuffing against the joined T-lugs and T-recesses which resist separation of adjacent tiles during use.
Abstract:
A mat with puzzle function is a four-sided pad. Each side has a tooth part with a succession of teeth. At least two cutting lines divide the mat into four blocks, in such a way that each block has an assembling part with the complementary shape to connect with others. The block of each mat can engage with another block of the mat to form a puzzle mat set.
Abstract:
A floor tile has a rectangular, wear resistant, decorated upper portion. A rectangular lower portion is affixed to the upper portion. The lower portion has laterally projecting tongues extending outwardly from two adjacent sides. The other two adjacent sides have inwardly directed pockets adapted to receive the tongues of adjacent tiles to form a continuous floor covering. Only the edges of the tongues and pockets that resist movement of adjacent tiles away from one another are close fitting to facilitate installation.
Abstract:
A floor panel may include a bottom layer and an upper layer overlying the bottom layer. The bottom layer may have first and second edges, and the bottom layer may include at least one male protrusion on the first edge, and have at least one female protrusion receptacle on the second edge corresponding to a shape of the at least one male protrusion. The bottom layer may further include at least one male lip on the second edge, and have at least one female lip receptacle on the first edge corresponding to a shape of the at least one male lip. The upper panel may vertically overly the at least one female lip receptacle and the at least one female protrusion receptacle.
Abstract:
A floor tile system for protecting a substrate is described. The system includes two tiles or mats that interlock with one another along numerous axes to provide a tight, high-strength seam. Specifically, the tiles include teeth that interlock with teeth of the other tile in a side-by-side manner. The tiles also include male and female portions that interlock when the tile edges overlap with one another.
Abstract:
A new interlocking or interconnection mechanism for securing floor covering panels is invented, whereas the covering panels can be any sizes, shapes, structures, and of any materials. The mechanism is consisted of independent features rendering the vertical and the lateral couplings, where vertical is defined as the direction perpendicular to the surface of the panel that is exposed and lateral is defined as the direction parallel to the exposed surface. The new mechanism provides a gradual progressive tightening effect during the installation process for securing the panels, which is completely different from the outcome by all the existing mechanisms including tongue-and-groove, snap-on, etc.
Abstract:
In an exemplary embodiment, a modular deck tile is designed to allow for the easy installation of roof top or balcony decks over existing surfaces, such as rolled roofing, waterproof or impermeable membranes. Advantages include the ability to be installed on a roof top surface without penetrating any waterproof membrane layers and cause leaking. The deck tiles may be made with recycled fiber composite decking or high density foam modular tiles. In another exemplary embodiment, the deck tile comprises an interlocking polyethylene base configured for the attachment of composite products or high density foam to be attached either in variety of shape configurations and in a variety of colors.
