    Abstract: An aseptic coupling arrangement including a first coupling device and a second aseptic coupling device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the first and second coupling devices are substantially similar, each having a main body defining a front face and a fluid passageway therethrough. A first connecting feature disposed on the main body of each coupling device may be provided for aligning and coupling the aseptic devices together. Each coupling device may also include a sealing member received in the main body and a membrane removably coupled to the main body front face to cover the sealing member. The first aseptic coupling device may also include a rotatable protective cover that is removably attached to the main body and connected to the membrane. In one embodiment, the removal of the protective covers away from two coupled main bodies, in a direction parallel to the front faces, causes removal of the membranes.

    Abstract: A connector device having a housing part and a clamping ring arranged in the receiving hole and cooperating with an inner cone of the housing part to lock a plugged-in media conduit. An inner insertion piece is removably connected to a base piece and provided with the inner cone. The insertion piece has at least two radially elastic spring arms to enable removal of the conduit. Radially outward-protruding catching extensions of the spring arms engage catching holes for detaching purposes. A contamination seal is disposed in the region of free ends of the spring arms to circumferentially rest upon the media conduit. The catching extensions are disconnected from the sealing area via a deformation zone so that the radial detaching movement of the catching extensions is performed without being influenced by the contamination seal because the deformation zone is deformed.

    Abstract: A fitting has an external body and a caliper element, lodged in an axial cavity of the body and able to block the end of a tube inside the cavity. The caliper element can be moved from a rearward position blocking the tube, to a forward position releasing the tube, and includes a flanged rim protruding from an end of the body. A security ring is joined to the end of the body from which the flanged rim protrudes. The ring has an outer portion which extend axially from the end and can resist at least an axial force exerted manually, and an innermost portion which is flexible so that when subjected to an axial force exerted manually, it can move axially and to touch the flanged rim.     Abstract: A coupling for conveying fluid between a component of a fluid system and an insertion end of a fluid conduit includes a coupling body enclosing a bore with a receiving end into which the insertion end of the conduit is introduced. A gripping mechanism capable of fixing the position of the insertion end of the conduit takes the form of a spring washer seated in the receiving end of bore in coaxial encirclement of the insertion end of the conduit. The spring washer includes a plurality of radially inwardly extending fingers that flex radially outwardly to accommodate the advancement of the insertion end of the conduit through the spring washer. The fingers resile radially inwardly into seating engagement with the outer surface of the conduit at an orientation that resists withdrawal of the conduit. Plural resilient parallel release fingers extend into to form a release mechanism slidable relative to the coupling body into a disengaging position in which the release fingers induce outward flexure of fingers of the spring washer out of seating engagement with the outer surface of the conduit. A flexure relief slot is interposed between adjacent of the release fingers about the cylindrical array. In the disengaging position, the tips of adjacent of the release fingers narrow the open end of a flexure relief slot therebetween.
