Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service server device that can realize a service making a user feel as if he was talking face-to-face by using an existing application.SOLUTION: A service server device comprises: a service activation unit 250 which receives an instruction to perform a task during communication; a telephone/call control enabler 201 which records telephone conversation voice of a speaker during communication between voice communication terminal devices 241a, 241b; a voice recognition enabler 203 which performs a task on the basis of the recorded telephone conversation voice if the instruction has been accepted; a text translation enabler 204; a voice synthesis enabler 202; and a communication control unit 224 which provides task data obtained by performing the task for the voice communication terminal devices 241a, 241b. The task data is formed by text data into which the telephone conversation voice is converted, translation text data into which the text data is translated in another language, and voice data into which the translation text data is converted.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for audio transmission in a mobile terminal for receiving digital multimedia broadcast. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a broadcast reception processor for receiving digital multimedia broadcast including at least an audio signal, separating the audio signal from the received digital multimedia broadcast, and outputting the separated audio signal; a digital/analog converter for converting the separated audio signal into an analog audio signal; a control unit for determining if transmission of the audio signal included in the digital multimedia broadcast is requested or not during a voice call; a synthesizer for synthesizing the analog audio signal received from the D/A converter and a user's voice signal under controll of the control unit; and a communication part for wirelessly transmitting the synthesized signal. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize conference communication with free atmosphere by controlling the voice synthesis with control information of a group number and status information to manage the state of participants. CONSTITUTION:A group number identifying a participated conference and status information representing the participating state to the conference are provided as the control information corresponding to conference participants. A storage section storing the control information during the conference communication and the voice synthesis section 10 synthesizing the voice as the conference communication at each conference group according to the contents of the storage section and deciding the voice transmitted to each participant are provided. Then, the participant can leave before the conference is over without disconnecting the participant terminal by having only to rewrite the contents of the status control information in storage sections 20-23, thus the conference communication is attained under free atmosphere with lighted feeling of bindage to the conference such as response to a private talking while listening to the state of the conference or discussion or the like.
Abstract:
Methods and systems are described in which spoken voice prompts can be produced in a manner such that they will most likely have the desired effect, for example to indicate empathy, or produce a desired follow-up action from a call recipient. The prompts can be produced with specific optimized speech parameters, including duration, gender of speaker, and pitch, so as to encourage participation and promote comprehension among a wide range of patients or listeners. Upon hearing such voice prompts, patients/listeners can know immediately when they are being asked questions that they are expected to answer, and when they are being given information, as well as the information that considered sensitive.
Abstract:
A service server apparatus is provided which can easily cope with a correction of an error of a task performed based on the content of verbal speeches of a speaker. The service server apparatus includes a service activating unit that receives an instruction for performing a different task from a task performed by an application relating to a speech communication, a telephone/call control enabler that records verbal speeches of the speaker during a speech communication between a plurality of speech communication terminal device, a speech recognizing enabler which performs a task based on the recorded speeches and which generates task data including text data representing the result of the performance and speech data representing the result of the performance, a text translating enabler, and a speech synthesizing enabler. This service server apparatus provides the task data to at least either one of the plurality of speech communication terminal devices or another communication terminal device associated with the speech communication terminal device.
