본 발명은 원고 등을 촬영하여 취득한 화상정보를 프로젝터 등의 외부장치에 공급하는 서화카메라 및 서화카메라시스템에 관한 것으로서, 서화카메라(1)를 카메라스탠드(11)와, 그것에 착탈 자유롭게 장착되는 디지털카메라(51)로 구성하고, 장착시에는 양자간에 전기적인 접속상태를 확보하며, 디지털카메라(51)는 단독으로의 사용이 가능한 구성으로 하고, 또 카메라스탠드(11)내에 충전회로를 설치하며, 장착한 디지털카메라(51)로의 외부전원에 의한 충전을 가능하게 하고, 디지털카메라(51)로 촬영한 화상 또는 기록되어 있는 화상의 데이터를 카메라스탠드(11)를 통하여 PC(2)에 전송하며, 촬영(기록)화상을 프로젝터(3)에 의해 스크린(S)에 투영시키며, 또한 카메라스탠드( 11)에 모드전환키(17c), 셔터키(17d) 등을 설치하고, 디지털카메라(51)에 있어서의 동작 모드의 전환조작, 정지화상 촬영조작 등을 가능하게 하며, 또한 PC로부터도 카메라스탠드(11) 경유에서의 조작을 가능하게 하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a handling procedure instruction device that displays information on a handling procedure of electronic equipment only when a user is not familiar with the handling procedure of the electronic equipment. The device determines whether or not the equipment is connected with the instruction device, and then reads, from the equipment, information on whether or not the handling procedure of the equipment is known to the user of the equipment to determine whether or not an instruction for the handling is required. If it reads information indicating that the handling procedure of the equipment is known to the user of the equipment, the device aborts a display process of previously-stored handling procedure instruction information. If the display process of the previously-stored handling procedure instruction information is aborted, the device displays information to be displayed after the handling procedure instruction information on a display portion. According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce needless operations by a user who is familiar with the handling procedure.

In one aspect of the invention, a printer is provided for use with a display device having images stored in a memory therein, a display device controller, and an image display for displaying the stored images. The printer has an external structure housing a print engine and receiver medium transport adapted to cooperate to cause donor materials to be transferred to a receiver medium in an imagewise fashion; a display device interface being adapted to receive the display device and to position the display device so that a display device electrical connector can form an electrical connection with the electrical interface; and a printer processor adapted to transmit signals to the display device controller influencing what is presented on the image display; wherein the display device interface is adjustably mounted to the external structure.
Abstract:
An automatic image capture portable electronic device is disclosed which enables an image capture mode immediately after inputting of an image capture signal is continued for a predetermined time or more, to automatically capture an image, releases the image capture mode when the inputting of the image capture signal ceases, and permanently stores data of the captured image after the release of the image capture mode. Also, a security image capture system is disclosed which uses the portable electronic device. Since the image capture mode is automatically executed without an additional command from the user, an enhancement in use convenience is achieved. In the security image capture system, an image of an external situation is automatically captured in a charging mode enabled when the portable electronic device is coupled to a charger, and the captured image is transmitted to a security server via the Internet.

The present invention is a digital printer comprising a marking apparatus (412) adapted to print images, a first electrical interface (452) for connecting to a digital camera, a second electrical interface (494) for connecting to a computer (496), and a processor (420) for detecting when the digital camera is connected to the first electrical interface, for controlling the marking apparatus to print images provided from the digital camera when the digital camera is connected to the first electrical interface, and for controlling the marking apparatus to print images provided from the computer over the second interface when the digital camera is not connected to the first electrical interface.

A system, method and software program for transmitting a digital image from a first communication device to a second communication device at a digital image service provider over a communication network. An upload software computer program dynamically analyzes certain properties of the first communication device and of the communication network connection with respect to predetermined criteria, and based on the analysis determines a strategy based on predetermined criteria for transmission of the digital images. For example, the upload software determines the number of communication threads and divides the digital images into a plurality of individual data packets each having a unique ID. The receiving communication device verifies receipt and determines if all of the plurality of individual data packets have been received and requests failed packets be resent.

A method is provided for playing a presentation. The method displays, through a display device connected to a machine, information identifying a presentation background, music, and presentation effects. The method receives a presentation selection including information identifying the presentation background, the music, and/or the presentation effects. The method then plays, through the display device, a presentation reflecting the selected information. The machine is a data storage drive, a printer, or a docking station, and includes a processor and a memory. The processor is configured to effect the presentation, whereas the memory is configured to store information representing the presentation background, the music, the presentation effects, and the presentation.

An image printing system includes a portable data capturing device for capturing data relating to an image which it is desired to print. A processor communicates with the data capturing device for processing output data which is output from the data capturing device to provide formatted data suitable for printing. An onboard printing unit is mounted onboard a vehicle and is associated with the processor for printing the formatted data to provide the image.
