Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for selectively supporting a RAW format in a digital image processing apparatus are provided to prevent the degradation of image quality in the desired area of a photographed image. CONSTITUTION: A photographer enters into a photo mode(S910). The photographer establishes ROI(Region Of Interest)(S911). The photographer performs photography(S912). A RAW storage unit stores the ROI in a RAW file format(S920,S921). A compression and storage unit processes ROU(Region Of Uninterest) with existing parameters(S930). The compression and storage unit performs the JPEG(Joint Photographic Expert Group) encoding of a photographed image(S931).

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A photographing device for automatically setting resolution and a method therefor are provided to automatically set the resolution of a stored image according to a kind of a recording medium selected by a user. CONSTITUTION: A DVC(Digital Video Camera) unit(202) picks up a moving picture through a camera lens. A DVC signal processing block(112) converts an output signal of the DVC unit into digital moving picture data. The first resolution converting unit(171) converts the digital moving picture data into the first resolution. The second resolution converting unit(172) converts the digital moving picture data into the second resolution. An MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) compressing unit(182) compresses data outputted from the first resolution converting unit as data with the first format. A DV compressing unit(183) compresses data outputted from the second resolution converting unit as data with the second format. A removable IC memory card(121) stores the data with the first format. A magnetic tape(122) stores the data with the second format. A recording medium selection switch(131) outputs a recording mode signal for selecting one of the removable IC memory card and the magnetic tape. A main control unit(141) transmits the digital moving picture data to one of the first and second resolution converting units on the basis of the recording mode signal.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a photographing method capable of adjusting image sizes, which comprises (a) restoring image signals captured by a first mode size and stored in a first memory and storing the restored image signals in a second memory; (b) determining whether to select a modification operation for modifying the image signals captured by the first mode size into those of the second mode size; (c) deleting the image signals stored in the first memory when the modification operation is selected; (d) sampling the image signals restored in the second memory; (e) compressing the sampled image signals according to a compression ratio corresponding to the second mode; and (f) storing the compressed image signals in the first memory.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and computer-readable storage media for allocating content elements addressed for a content opportunity in a transport stream within a household-addressable media network. A content opportunity may include an advertising slot in a programming stream. The content elements may include advertising content configured to be run during the advertising slot. The advertising slot may be transmitted in a programming stream providing television programming and the advertising content may be provided in a commercial feed. The media network may be configured to transmit various content formats, such as high definition (HD), standard definition (SD), and variations thereof. Systems may be configured to allocate the highest profile corresponding content elements if there is sufficient resources available. If sufficient resources are not available, the system may allocate lower profile versions of the content elements.
Abstract:
A method of controlling a mobile terminal, and which includes entering, via a controller controlling a camera of the mobile terminal, a camera photograph mode; determining, via the controller of the mobile terminal, a position of a first pointer contacting a touchscreen in the camera photograph mode and whether the first pointer is in a first state or a second state when the first pointer is located in a preset region on the touchscreen; ignoring a touch input through the pointer, when the first pointer is determined as being in the first state; and performing a function corresponding to the touch input through the pointer, when the first pointer is determined as being in the second state.
Abstract:
A recording control apparatus includes an attribute information reader (111), a medium determining unit (112), and a command transmitter (113). When a recording medium (20) is removably loaded into a loading unit (11), the attribute information reader (111) reads attribute information therefrom. On the basis of the attribute information, the medium determining unit (112) determines whether or not the recording medium (20) is a one-time recording medium capable of writing data only once. If the recording medium (20) is determined to be a one-time recording medium that has been set to a write-protected state in advance, the command transmitter (113) transmits to the recording medium (20) an unlock command for unlocking the write-protected state thereof.
Abstract:
A camera system includes a camera main body and a camera head mounted to the camera main body. The main body includes a type recognizing section for recognizing the type of camera head, a capability determining section for determining whether the camera body can perform a signal conversion process to convert the image signal received from the camera head to an image signal, a signal processing section for performing the signal conversion process, and an image display section for displaying an image based on the processed signal (if the camera body can perform the signal conversion process) or on the received signal (if the camera body cannot perform the signal conversion process).
