The circuitry within the housing includes a circuit board, including a cutout. Disposed within the cutout is the surge protector device. The surge protector device includes pins for mounting to an edge mount of the circuit board, and the housing includes a removable cover to allow access to the cutout and the surge protector device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an access module (1) for telecommunications and data technology, having a housing in which externally accessible input and output contacts for connection of lines and wires are arranged, with the housing having a cavity in which at least one printed circuit board (6) is arranged, with the input and output contacts being arranged on opposite end faces of the housing, with the input contacts being in the form of at least one connecting strip (5) with insulation-displacement terminal contacts (41), and the output contacts being in the form of at least one plug connector (8), with the housing having at least two parts, with a front housing part (2) being fitted with the input contacts and the printed circuit board (6), and a rear housing part (3) being detachably connectable to the front housing part (2), with the rear housing part (3) having at least one outward bulge (9), and with the plug connector being arranged behind the outward bulge (9).
Abstract:
A telecommunications apparatus that has a substantially box-shaped subrack having a back wiring board mounting a connector and a plurality of shell-type plug-in units inserted in the subrack so that a connector of each of the plug-in units is connected to the connector of the subrack, further includes a flexible, electrically conductive seal member elastically deformedly disposed between a lateral surface of the plug-in unit inserted into the subrack and an interior portion of the subrack so as to enclose both the plug-in unit connector.
Abstract:
An enclosure for computer-based telephone switching equipment that suppresses the radiation of electromagnetic interference through the use of multiple overlapping seals and apertures.
Abstract:
A telecommunications terminal module (10) includes the following features. The terminal module (10) includes at least one location (36) for mounting a section (32,34, 64) of a telecommunications rack (12), the mounting location (36) is provided with surfaces (38,40,42) facing said section (32, 34, 64), and the surfaces (38, 40, 42) of said mounting location (36) are configured such that said terminal module (10) can be tilted from the condition as secured to said rack (12) relative to said section (32, 34, 64) about one rim (70) thereof.
Abstract:
A telecommunications terminal block includes at least one contact module. The contact module features a front side and a rear side, an upper side and a lower side, a first side and a second side opposite the first side. Furthermore, the contact module features at least one row of contacts extending between the first side and the second side. The contacts are exposed at the front side. For another thing, the terminal block includes wire guides arranged at the upper side and/or lower side of the contact module. The wire guides lead cable conductors from (file front side to the first side or second side. The wire guides are grouped together into arrays, the wire guides of which each lead to a single side. At least two arrays, a first array and a second array, of wire guides, adjoin each other and at least one row of contacts of each contact module and are assigned to this row of contacts. The wire guides of each such array lead to opposite sides.
Abstract:
A grounding plate (10) includes the following features: said grounding plate (10) includes in its rear portion at least one contact section (18) integrally formed with said grounding plate (10) for contacting a telecommunications rack-mount (50), said grounding plate (10) is configured essentially flat, including said contact section (18) and with the exception of comparatively short angled items (24), if any, which serve for positioning said grounding plate (10) in or on a telecommunications module (30) relative to a direction perpendicular to the sheet-metal plane of said grounding plate (10), said grounding plate (10) includes in its front portion several contact fingers (12), said grounding plate (10) can be mounted on a telecommunications module such that each contact finger (12) is in contact with a section of a contact of the module, and said grounding plate (10) can be mounted together with the module on a telecommunications rack-mount such that said contact section (18) is in contact with a mainly troughed telecommunications rack-mount, said telecommunications module is provided with one such grounding plate (10) and said telecommunications rack-mounting system is provided with at least one such module.
