Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a means capable of producing a molded article from a composite material consisting of a thermoplastic binder and cellulose or oligocellulose having strength characteristics hard to receive the effect of the circumferential temp. as compared with the prior arts, having air permeability over the total surface thereof and capable of being laminated by all of methods belonging to the prior arts. CONSTITUTION: A fiber mat preformed from a mixture of cellulose and/or lignocellulose fibers with more than 20 wt.% of a thermal binder is heated and pressed to obtain a molded article. The fiber mat is subjected to preliminary compression as a planar and endless mat fiber fleece in a first step. The fiber mat is heated to at least the start-off temp. of the fiber finish in the form of a blank or a web in a second step. Compression is carried out before shaping of the molded article.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a frame for a game racket by helically winding a tow of a filament material and a thermoplastic material. CONSTITUTION: In an embodiment of disperse winding, the first revolution of a filament material is shown by a tow 20 wound around the longitudinal axis 13 of a rotating core at +α deg. and a tow 21 wound around the core at -α deg.. In the next revolution, a tow 22 is wound at +α deg. and a tow 23 is wound at -α deg.. In next revolution selected by a planner, a different winding mold is used and a tow 24 is wound at +β deg. and a tow 25 is wound at -β deg.. Angles of a series of windings are arbitrary. Therefore, the arbitrary dispersion of winding revolution obtained by disperse winding technique brings about the three- dimensional coupling of fibers. Even after a tube is detached from the core, the coupled fibers hold the perfect structural state of a wound tube.

PURPOSE:To provide boards or a packing material wherein practical strength is provided, either a bad odor or a bacteria hardly exists, and wastepaper is used as a raw material, and its simple, secure, and economical manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:A board type or a packing material composed by binding wastepaper pieces with a binder to be molded and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The binder is a polyisocyanate compound or its water dispersion.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nano-bio composite that includes a natural fiber reinforcement coated with a carbon nanomaterial and a polymer.SOLUTION: A nano-bio composite includes a natural fiber reinforcement coated with a carbon nanomaterial and a polymer, wherein the flexural strength, flexural modulus and storage modulus are greatly improved by the synergistic effect of the natural fiber reinforcement and the carbon nanomaterial.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cellulose fiber-containing thermoplastic resin composition capable of obtaining the one containing a fibrillated cellulose fiber. SOLUTION: The method for producing a cellulose fiber-containing thermoplastic resin composition comprises: a process where, when a cellulose fiber assembly is fed to a mixer having a rotary blade as a stirring means, and the cellulose fiber assembly is fibrillated by a high-speed stirring, as the cellulose fiber assembly, a bar-shaped pulp sheet is used, and the bar-shaped pulp sheet and the blade of the mixer are brought into contact in such a manner that the angle between the pulp sheet and the blade is controlled to the range of 45 to 90° and are fibrillated; a process where a thermoplastic resin is fed to the mixer, the mixture is stirred, and the thermoplastic resin is melted by generated frictional heat, so as to obtain a mixture in which the thermoplastic resin is attached to the fibrillated cellulose fiber; and a process where the mixture is stirred at a low speed while being cooled.
